people whom think that the entire point of this war is to take the land that eon holds would be mistaken. sure, land will slowly change hands over the next week(s), and eon will take some of it back. that's fine. the point of this war is that eon will not exist at the end. people will leave eon corps, and corps will leave eon as long as fec can keep the pressure on.
mercenaries fighting with fec have to realize that every time someone from eon tries to dissuade fec from the war, it is a small victory for fec. if eon corps were really just raking in the isk, why would they tell us to stop wasting our isk? sure, they are benefiting from this war in the short term run, but after eon's districts are taken that cuts off a primary source of their revenue. that is why they attempt to lower our morale and convince us to quit fighting. they have fear, and it's extremely important that we sense that and use it to empower our cause.
quickgloves wants this war to stop because he knows the war will not end at eon's fall. the many districts that stb owns will be next in the cross-hairs. he has fear as well. that is his motivation to lower fec's morale.
if fec stops the attacks today, that is a clear victory for eon and stb. if fec stops today, then all the isk has been wasted. have patience and determination mercenaries. understand their fears and capitalize on them. and enjoy the battles, win or lose, because without them, our submission has returned
Paragraph 3 is my favorite with 4 as a runner up.
I honestly think this war will last longer than a week or two. The FEC is becoming less of an army and more of a revolution. Sure. Our side could exhaust fundings one day but that wouldn't stop the war from happening. It'll be perpetual until either Eon leaves, has less land, or just becomes non-existent. Any and everyone who has a non-major corp OR has been on a non-major corp won't see them in a good light no matter what they say because at the end of the day most of Molden Heath belongs to them. As for me,
You can cut this mercenary's throat but you can't take away his spirit.
Out of Context:
Weren't you spewing crap about us being puppets the other night? I find it hard to believe that we're being controlled or even manipulated when we want this. We pick our own fights, choose our own ringers, and fight our own battles to the best of our ability. |
