I don't know if I didn't get enough sleep last night, or you are being vaugue, but I'm having a hard time picturing this still...
So, it will be a 5k square, and what...we will have 3 different craters that we fight in? At the same time or in different battles? I get there are 3 craters, but what is IN the craters and WHEN is it in them? It probably makes perfect sense to you since you've seen it, but it sounds different than anything we have.
I initially pictured something like Manus Peak but with 3 large sockets rather than mediums... |

Within each battlezone is multiple sockets that are occupied by small, medium and large buildings at random (but they're going to start theming them so gallente small stuff with gallente big stuff.
Largest of these buildings are known as outposts, we're getting one new one as well.
Then how the entire map feels, time of day, and type of dirt, weather, skybox and the sorts are known as moods, we're getting a few more of those as well.
Other than the Terrain and Battlefield many other things are interchangeable.

Final question... What is CCP Praetorian referring to as Surface Infrastructure then, if it INCLUDES large sockets and medium sockets? Is an SI and a battleground the same thing...? Or did he misspeak? |
