Back when I first started Dust I knew I was going to play EVE at some point later on so I decided on a character name and reserved it by making a Dust character using it. (so it couldn't get taken by someone else.... I'm partial to my character names)
I've just gone through the character creation for my EVE trial and upon reaching the naming I turned on my PS3 and deleted my character.... or tried to. Since I hadn't deleted a character before I didn't know about the 10 hour "Biomass Processing Queue" before the deletion is finalized.
So can someone tell me if it's possible to either expedite the process or save the progress on my EVE character? Sooner the better, because I'm kind of short on time right now and I don't want to leave my computer on for that long. |

You're going to have to wait it out, or start your character over again. |

Sorry, but you're stuck with the timer. It's there for a reason: to prevent butterfingers/douchebag friends/alcohol from wiping out months of progress with a couple of button presses and the resulting frantic emails to customer support.
On the bright side (I MIGHT BE WRONG HERE... but even if I am wrong, what would you lose by just starting another trial?) I don't think the eve trial time starts counting down until you actually fully create a character and log it in for the first time. Just give it another go tomorrow |

Problem I have is not in worrying about the trial time, but in that I don't want to lose my character and be forced to start over ;_; as i said before, I'm partial to my characters. (not just the name >_>" but all the time I put into customizing the appearance tilI get it juuuuuuuuuust right) |
