Concept, gameplay everything was better. The difference was the Bethesda Skyrim fanbois didnt prop up Brink as desperately as the EVEtards do Dust and why it didnt last as long if it had.
But hey at least after months of HTFU and Adapt or Die Dust now has a new mottos

Brink was fun. Wish squadding was easier in that game. The whole fireteam and the weird voice options were unnecessary.
Really wish it hadn't died. :( |

It was fun.
But the multiplayer was just so, meh.
I wanted gamemodes, gamemodes like CTF would've been amazing with the movement.
But the multiplayer was basically single player with other players, it was just so disappointing. |

Brink was a polished game, this is still beta, regardless of how long ago we have been in "full release."
Until we get past glaring bugs and issues this will still be beta. |

lol. Funny you say that 'cause the single player was really just multiplayer but with bots.
The thing about game modes is that Brink had them, they were just always set as missions. Which was neat, but at the same time if you just wanted a game mode you couldn't just queue the game mode, you had the queue the one mission. Which meant the one map. I know it didn't have CTF but it had other game modes, disguised as missions which was cool. But yeah, it was a really fun game and I wish it had survived better. |

And yet I'd rather spend 30 minutes going over my skills in DUST than so much as put a Brink disc back in my ps3 ever again. That game was the biggest waste of a free rental ever.
This is coming from someone that started out as a fanboy but is now critical of DUST |

Some of you guys are acting incredibly childish . How is posting a thread like this suppose to solve anything ? I don't like the game either , I always see something like this on almost ever game forum ; players posting troll threads like this thinking is going to have an effect ,I never understood the behavior of constantly posting negative nonconstructive threads . |

Homefront would've been good if it had been Freedom Fighters revisited, it wasn't and so it will forever be garbage. |

Brink had better action, better objective play, better revival method, better customization of character and weapon. But in reality it is a much simpler Dust in the style of TF2 |
