Now, I've been a big fan of Scattered Blasters, but sometimes a Compressed is actually worth the required control. Then again we have the accelerated missiles, those are good.
But money for Scattered Blaster. |

That's only for dropsuit stuff. vehicles are being ****** until 1.5 Sadly..... Anyways, all but the cycled missiles. |

yea gunners have been doing decent, as in 8 or 10 kills a game, which i know isn't a whole lot but not completely broken. can someone elaborate on the bug? |

Have you never gunned in the last 4 months?
You cannot aim any turret to the lower front half of ship without it resetting to aim right along the nose ( at nothing ). Its infuriating and kills a huge area where people used to be able to gun at. Not to mention ruins all synergy with assault ds nose gun. Im flying and aiming where I can hit thing, You cannot assist anywhere near my target.

wow see this was my whole underlying question, because some kid raged at me last night for having a fragmented instead of a cycled. which he did get 8 kills with the frag before demanding a cycled. |

I like missiles because of the good splash damage :) Blasters were nice back in Chromosome but they're kinda booty now. They still can do work. |

My favourite turret would be the proto accelerated missile. The higher velocity of the projectile allows me to hit moving targets more consistently. |

Gunners have been doing "good" in spite of this. When im flying if I want them to have the best area of shooting I have to turn around and present my ass tp forge gunners so they can aim out lower back without glitching. Or I have to completely split left and right sides. Front is broke. Its a pain for me and the gunners. First thing anyone notices when gunning, they say on mic how ****ed their guns are being |

They know that's a bug with the aiming down the nose. I'm not suggesting its working fine now, but there are changes coming that will hopefully improve a bit. |

However what they are talking about is improving the way ads aims its turret which right now is pretty sub par. That will hopefully be a huge quality off life change but these are different things entirely |

Men up seriously. We all know you're buthurt about DS, but you could have easily just answered which one you prefer, since obviously, if you fly like a Boss, you need to use some.
I prefer the XT fragmented missiles, good direct hit damage, higher radius for splash making the hit register more. Works for me at least. Never tried the blaster that much, to much PG usage to my taste.

I like the Scattered Blaster but the Accelerated Missiles are a close second.
Cycled are my least favourite. You adjust aim and timing of each individual missile to the movement of the dropship... but with Cycled this only works for the first third of each salvo and the rest is a bit of a crapshoot. |

To answer the question, it depends on how the DS pilot flies. If they like to hang back I prefer if they have a cycled missiles. It just seems I have a better chance hitting people with that. However if they like to get in close then it can either be the cycled missiles or a blaster. Doesn't matter as long as it's proto and the pilot either takes off or turns the ship around when I tell him I'm getting shot up. |

Considering on average most infantry get less than that; it's still pretty good. |

to answer OP, I use the XT missile launcher, I find myself decent at aiming, so I do not need the extra AOE, so I go for the most damage |
