Why is it that sometimes 2 waves of Orbital kills my tank from full HP and then sometimes I can survive through the whole 6 or so waves of the Orbital?
I don't play EVE, that's why I am asking... |

Who said I am trying to sit under orbital? If I have stopped for whatever reason and then get orbital thrown at me 9 out of 10 times I can either get out of it in time or just sit there not noticing that I got orbital on me (reppers on and in ADS in which case you can hear the orbital but not see it) but that 1 time out of 10 I am dead before I even begin to accelerate.
EDIT: and if I happen to sit in orbital it is because I do not see it and in which case I usually only know that I have been hit with orbital is because someone in comms says something like "dude you just survived an orbital"... and then I'm like "wait, I was in orbital?" |

I don't play EVE, that's why I am asking... The Precision Strike has nothing to do with EVE, and I don't even know how its damage is calculated.
If it wasn't for EVE players there would be no orbitals, you need EVE players to do the orbital... |

Oh yeah and I am using KB&M so I cannot rely on active hardeners, I need to use passive modules. So I suppose sometimes I just take direct hits from the orbitals. |

Have they changed it then? Last time I checked it required EVE players to accept the orbital request. |
