As for who's going to run out of ISK first, with EON being attacked with purchased clone packs, and being able to defend with existing clones, were not spending any large amounts of ISK and the payouts from the fights more than cover our losses in gear. We actually turned a decent profit yesterday.

It is rather humorous seeing all the ex-PFB/NF/Cronos/Zion/STB/PHI guys that have flocked to the Eon Banner recently. They're some of the first to pound their chest and act the part. |

That is based on us getting attacked at this rate though, so it's impossible to tell what will happen. Right now everyone is just enjoying the fights.
Just glad to see that I was apart of getting this event going and to see the community do something other then pub matches. Best of Luck to all and GG to those that have been participating. |

To be honest this is full proof of the fact that the clone pack system of attacking is broken. Even with the new update I see it very hard for those not using districts to attack to flip many districts. Clone packs should be extended to 150 clones. Just as the matches we fight in pub would give attackers the opportunity to actually have a chance of getting a district to flip in a reasonable amount of time. The fact that over 100 battles were initiated and most resulted in little effect due to the fact the defender only had to kill 1 clone and now 21 clones with the update still leaves the current system of attacking broken. Would be more interesting to see if all involved start to use all available districts to attack from and see what effect this has on the current mechanics. |

TP's went 47-2 last night. We took three districts. and The alliance won over 100+ battles over a 6 hour period. The two we lost? One was to New Eden's Most Wanted, other was to Exemplars. When we had 5 timers going at the same time we just sent in 6 slayers and 4 capped slapped entire teams. last night at least...quality overwhelmingly beat quantity. |

GG to TP last night. I ended up with about a .3 k/d but it felt good to kill reggie and cubs.
Mad props to annie and xero. Pretty sure they were the only two to kill me besides some grenade spam and a cheap shot by regnum. They both get my MVP for the night. Some of these supposed elites disappointed me. |

We won even after your full team of 16 was sent in, but I was impressed how quickly you guys nearly beat us from that late of a join. If you guys had had another 120 seconds, we probably would've lost.

lol the point of the 120 clone packs shouldn't be to lose less than 20 clones so you can get re-attacks in on the same day, you must win battles...We could attack win 120 clone packs and win matches vs 99% of the corps (AE and OH are just slaying fests and require at least 180 clones just to be safe) and then get the reattack the next day...even with 150 clones in a real battle it's not feasible to expect you can win a battle losing only 50 clones vs a good team. So any point stemming from needing more clones to get reups on the same day is moot. The point is to win the battles using 120 clones. Which can be done.
Take the full subdreddit match vs us we played...beat 90 clones in around 8 minutes, destroying on the MCC, left the battle to go onto the next one while others clean up what's left. 120-150 even 200 it just means more profit when we win unless you start winning battles.
Overall yesterdays first wave overwhelmingly showed quality > quantity. |

I... agree with Zatara. (Terrifying, I know.)
Reups on one day shouldn't be a guarantee. The problem with 100 clones was it was just a little too easy to win by clone-out. 20 more clones gives people just enough breathing room that the match should, realistically, usually end via an MCC destruction for one side or the other.
Also, 120 clones punishes corps who no-show fights, because they can outright lose their district in one evening if nobody even tries to shoot at the opposing team. Note that since you spend 16 when you spawn in, (a perfect match with 100 clones in a pack still can't reup) a defender only needs to kill five members of the attacking team to prevent an immediate reup. |

Thank you for besmirching my honor.
Your information was incorrect. It was a four-point map, we held our home point. You guys three-capped us. (And in part, because our strategy was to fall back rather than suffer a high clone loss, in which your team would've cloned us out.) |

This is wrong. You don't "spend"16 clones spawning in, so unless the 16 leave the battle and commit the suicide it would entail the opponent will need to kill 21 clones to prevent a immediate reep, and need to win the battle regardless to prevent a next day reup. So if it was 16 players that only had 100 clones, you'd just have to wait for the battle to finish and not have anyone die and the 100 clones would be enough to reup immediately.
And no 120 isn't enough skilled corp on corp action. TeamPlayers lost to AE once by clone out. We killed 190 clones and only brought 150. We were ahead on MCC but they simply cloned us out. 120 will be enough for the average and above average but not for TP's vs AE. |
