If you guys really only lost five times, we're happy to have provided 40% of your losses from our little corner. ;)
TeamPlayers did well last night, I can see how they wiped the floor with other groups, even with stacked timers.
I think we might've performed a little better if we had a couple things better sorted, I take some blame for a few mistakes we made, but all in all, good show. |

My assumption is that bloodying your corp would put us high on your list, yeah. Nobody tried the late dropin thing on us after we won matches. |

It sounds like CUBS thinks we're somehow afraid of failing on YouTube to a team with probably double the SP on average of our players. (It'd actually be interesting to fight TeamPlayers militia gear versus militia gear, and see how player skill fares. I'm sure TeamPlayers is "good", but I'd like to see "how good" on even footing.)
But... really don't care, to be honest. If that's what makes you happy, go right ahead. Make sure you send us a link, we'll post it too. =) |

We never wanted to or tried to farm. If you got that impression, you were incorrect. As soon as we tried to attack on our own, EoN and others came down and obliterated us. We wanted to make back the money we spent acquiring the districts (which we did), and then get fights going from there.
But Mr. Space Police CUBS thinks letting your districts stabilize you for a couple days = farming?
We tried starting our own war, the big alliances didn't let us. |

Also, can you let me know how I "disrespected" you guys, by the way? (I'm on Skype, I don't think I know your Skype name though.) You wanted a war, we participated in giving you one. The fact that we won two matches last night wasn't meant to try and claim to be better than TeamPlayers (your team entered late, at a severe disadvantage, yet still performed exemplary). |

I definitely wouldn't agree with zzZaXxx on calling it an exploit. Though being blue with all the competition and then complaining you have no competition is kinda boring. ;) In EVE, when an alliance runs out of opponents, they split to create new opponents. (Similar to the CFC/HBC thing of recent history.)
Anyways, CUBS, if you would like to accuse us as farmers, I'm sure you're willing to demonstrate you're not, by abandoning all but one or two of TeamPlayers holdings in Molden Heath, right? |

Multiple districts were taken directly from us by EoN corps. I'm not talking about what 187. took. |

We were all set to wage a war with them, as they seemed like a good even-matched opponent. But they rang EoN players in soon as we got involved. It's not really worth playing war with someone who isn't going to fight on their own. :/ And then like five other groups attacked us, and so it wasn't worth fighting EoN ringers then, didn't have time in the old calendar.
CHICAGOCUBS4EVER wrote:Sad that didn't work out for everyone, I really am, but you guys wanted to farm
This felt like an accusation. ;) As I said, we had no intention of farming. Though one does need a way to fund a war. |

Killar-12 wrote:Hmmm... Wow the CFC loses a war, if you want to really screw EoN start a movement in the CFC a so called "Fuck EoN" movement and make it so they are hurt in every way that the CFC can hurt EoN down the road when null-sec opens to dusties.
You may be vastly overestimating how much influence the DUST side has over what the EVE side does day-to-day. ;) We work for them, not the other way around. I'd also be hesitant to say the CFC "lost a war", as if it was our war, we would've arranged it. It was more... some other people were like "let's go attack EoN, yo", and we're like "why not, game's boring". Gotta keep the players entertained. |

At most, we were "farming", as you say, for like a week. Because the first goal after buying districts, is to recoup the investment. But as stated, you need to be earning money in order to fund a war. You want a prolonged war... ensure we have three uncontested districts, and we'll clone pack you every day until kingdom come or CCP goes bankrupt. (The latter vastly more likely to come first, realistically.) |

It's a sandbox where CCP took all the sand out. ;) Just saying.
I think the point zzZaXxx is trying to stress is there's no good way to tier off competitive play. (Some games like StarCraft have tiers outright.) And pubs and FW are a poor substitute for PC-style gameplay. Realistically, we need corp battles back. And that's definitely a fault of CCP, not EoN. |
