Probably not. Two different markets (PS4 owners and PS3 owners) so...No. Then you have some who aren't even moving to PS4 (Me, PC Master Race) So no, it won't be the death of it, but the population will slowly dwindle as the PS4/XB1becomes more and more affordable to some, and the holidays roll around, so more people get it and so on, and so forth. |

If Dust players really wanted to play Planetside 2, they can already do it... RIGHT NOW. The fact they don't says it all. It's like asking if Dust will lose players to World of Warcraft. This. Lol Planetside 2 doesn't even get as much hype as Dust 514 gets around the web. Of course a lot of this comes from the fact that it's connected to New Eden and shares some of the harsh world's qualities, without even being legit connected, it's still better off.
A lot of the is also a bunch of bad reviews. In my facebook gaming group we essentially had a bash session of games none of us enjoyed. DUST was the 4th game we bashed. |

I'm not trolling. Both DUST and PS2's numbers are...Less than stellar. Hell, I think they're the exact same. At least PS2 is getting a population spike once it goes F2P on PS4. DUST isn't even hitting PS4 anytime soon. |
