Meaning, a simple map with static targets for one player wherein he could select any type of weapon to use. Yes, I'm aware that most/all types are available as militia weapons for a small fee...but it'd be nice for new players to get a chance to experience the weapons before diving into online matches to get a better feel for how each weapon operates, while at the same time giving them an idea of what type of weapon they should set out to specialize in. |

Would have to severely restrict it to be a training room for new players. Experienced players wanting to train just as we'll should use the pubs. My idea would be that it would be single-player only; basically, the game spawns you onto one of the battlefields with a collection of targets. You could then try out the different suit layouts (basic Amarr medium/Amarr heavy/etc.) along with basic weapons (in addition to dropship/LAV/HAV practice.) This might also allow for players to get a better grasp of each weapon's range, too.
Edit: Following up on my subsequent post, this wouldn't be a competitive match. It could be single-player or, as others have mentioned, restricted to single corporations as practice grounds. |

Michael Arck wrote:Yea a training room would be great for corporations to hold training battles with their members. Or allow you to customize to create unique situations. Like for instance, starting a game that has the objective already taken with your team clones down by half. Be good to train PC virgins This would also be a good feature, not only to help established corporations work on their teamwork but also to allow groups such as Dust University to actively teach new players how to play. |

When I see your name.. I think of TYPE O NEGATIVE. RIP PETE. You think correctly!
Thinking of starting a corp just so I could name it "Everyone-I-Love Is Dead." |
