Hey guys,
I'm a legitimately concerned DUST 514 Fan.
I enjoy other games, primarily Grand Theft Auto, and I eagerly await it's next release.
However, I still will drop back into DUST every once and awhile and especially for any Event or PC Battles.
But with the PS4 coming out in Mid-Late November, what will happen to DUST?
Has CCP announced any plans to have DUST ported/updated to PS4? Can I get an actual solid response?
I mean yes, I could and everyone else could keep playing on PS3's but that won't last too long.
I've spent a small handful of cash of this game, but more importantly I've grown to love it, as has my Corp.
We basically consist of people that play Grand Theft Auto and hate FPS's but DUST captured our love.
I do not care for Planet Side 2, I've even looked it up and I hear cries of it being better than DUST.
But it simply doesn't appeal to me in the same fashion, I mean it may be a good game in it's own right but it's not DUST.
CCP can you please confirm whether we'll be seeing DUST on PS4 near launch, or even at all? |

Uh didnt you know PS4 version of BF4, COD, Blacklight and Planetside 2 will eventually bury this game, so why are you worried?

Would really like some official word?
I'm curious as if the game has no future I won't bother purchasing and more Aurum.
Hell, I may even reconsider my subscription to EVE, I mean it's a great game.
But I'm not a huge PC Gamer I wanted to play it to benefit my Corp. |

Dust will still be here, even long after the ps4 games come and go running their course and people play Planetside 2, realise it's the definition of P2W and will still play Dust, plus chances are Dust will be on PS4 too |

You know what? I think the last army of two was a good game. But their are many who would say otherwise. and they are probably right. But it doesn't change that I do enjoy that game.
you like it. just continue to play it. If you didn't jump on the forums you wouldn't have known the state of this game. (not too promising. ) But so what? play what you like. |

You're not going to get "official word" one way or the other.
Not sure if you're waiting for a blue tag or what, but asking CCP in a forum thread to post about the future rarely if ever yields results, and instead draws trolls in. |

If you really want some advice, then don't pull out the credit/debit card from your wallet; that only tells CCP that their content addition progress is satisfactory (which, as you can see from many broken promises, is not extravagent). |

Yet you sit here trolling the forums of a dead game like anyone gives a flying **** about anything you have to say. All I see is a bunch of your alts liking you and you rotating them whenever the mods feel like temp banning you. Seriously, why are you here? Did the devs touch your toon inappropriately to the point that you need to invest your time in you little quips about other games, day in and day out on a forum that half the player base doesn't even know exists? You'd probably have more success trolling in game, but I doubt you even have Dust installed anymore.
PS- I've played PS2 as well. That piece of **** has more grinding than an urban middle school dance. |

CCP are almost certainly prevented by their contract with Sony from talking about Dust for PS4.
Don't let this lack of confirmation discourage you though; they publicly talk about Dust being around for 10 years, and they know they can't do that if it stays on the PS3. |

Appreciate the actual responses guys.
I had no idea their was a Ten Year Plan for DUST 514 with Sony.
Well in that case of course we'll see it on PS4 sooner or later, but I doubt on release which is fine by me.
Feel free to lock this topic or whatever is deemed necessary as it's really drawing in the trolls. |
