Will it count towards the event? Or how about those matches that you get thrown into but they immediately end? Which happens quite often.

Alright, being serious for a moment, is there going to be any actual tracking for this event, let people chart their progress? Anything in-game to give any hint that there is an event on, even.

Wirykomi Is a Caldari mega corporation yea suck it Amarr you have no AV weapons btw this is bad choice to throw in there as a weapon if your keeping with lack luster rewards. should of thrown in some plasma cannons.

There's a couple standard grade dropsuits where I already have their advanced equivalents, there's the standard grade Laser Rifle where I already have the advanced equivalent, there's the advanced Uplinks which I also already have . . . so pretty much all I'd be playing for is some swarm launchers (yawn) Guess its cool for people who haven't already spec'd into Amarr stuff, otherwise it is yet another event that will seem like its nothings happening.

Its just Dissappointing CCP didn't learn from the only worthwhile Dust event they ever hosted. Caldari Prime. My NPC was Ametat Security.... I was hoping for the Templars.

I like the idea of BPCs that can be used without any skill requirements, it gives those newer players a rare glimpse into the potential power they will one day be able to wield on a regular basis, a carrot to chase. While that is a good thing, you still have to do something to keep the veteran players interested as well, which means upping the meta level on prizes and offering truly unique items.

I agree that the items are ones you can either afford yourself or don't care about. The Templar event failed but it at least tried something, this event isn't trying to do anything. It's just play x number of matches and get y W/L ratio for no real incentive. It's barely an event.

Which happens quite often. The matches only count if you score 100 WP in them. If you don't score the WP like in the match scenario you just described, the match isn't counted in the event matches. Also, two of the rewards, the laser rifle and commando suits are CCPs way to get the players to try out items that aren't really used because of bad word-of-mouth or whatever. I think they're trying to get us to give them a shot again. The two items are the laser rifle and the commando suit. And maybe the energizer module.
