to spec into Forge guns. I am at advance and I have the SP so I want to know is it worth it to go even higher. I never wanted to go FG but the tankers made me do this. I was OK with 1 maybe 2 tanks on the board but 3, 4, even 5 freakin tanks is a bit much. Team was kicking sum dirt in some other teams eye and they were weak in the gun game, so what do they do? They run and call in a fleet of tanks. So we end up trying to take them out but as one went down 2 took its place. By the end of the match we were red lined and they had 4 tanks on the red line. I had AV's but there was no way I can take down 4 tanks. So i knew FG was the best answer for swarm takes to long to lock on. So tankers want to bully other teams by swarming, well I can do my best to cost you enough you cant afford to tank anymore. |

Ya I know about the potential nerf that is why I didn't want to go FG. 1.5 is a ways away so I can at least have some fun before then. Also the SP i use now I can save and make up for what I use today. For the next week or two I am going to focus on nothing but destroying as many tuna mobiles and flying coffins. |

If you have the SP you should do it. As long as you have the advanced heavy frame, and complex damage mods.
Otherwise just stick to the advanced FG and you'll do fine.
I speced into FGs after the first respec, and have never gone back. If you're tired of getting ran over and stomped by ARs, LAVs, MDs, and the(occasional) tank, spec into forge guns.
I will share secret with you
Have a basic minmatar logi dropsuit, or any logi dropsuit really. Equip it with only a mitilia AR or whatever, 1 uplink, and 2 nanohives, should only cost like 3k.
Fly (or run whatever) up to where you need to go at the start of the game, drop the link and nanohives, suicide, the respawn at the link in your forge fitting. You now have (basically) unlimited ammo, and a spawn (if you ever need it), with little SP investment.
