This idea came from a corpmate and honestly is not a bad idea, have friendly fire turned on, on MD will prevent some chaos situation. |

If so all AoE weapons should have FF turned on as well. I'm not saying I'm for or against this as I can think of arguments on both sides, but consistency is required if any such change were to be considered.

careful what you wish for. There would need to be some sort of penalty for pub grefiers, though I'm not sure what it should be since accidents will happen. -50 WP means nothing to someone whos goal is to wreak someone else's game. esp since you can't net a loss in a match. |

People like me will just spawn in with my MD and kill proto bears. So yes! It doesn't sound like a bad idea  |

If this were added to pubs I would advocate a change to that last aspect. If someone spends their whole game killing blues in a pub they should absolutely go negative.

Yeah, not going to happen for all the reasons hashed over in a dozen previous threads.
Way too easy to grief or reverse grief if the penalty is large enough. It's simply impossible to police. |

FF wouldn't work in pubs. Too many trolololols like myself would go around in MLT gear and kill blues. |

+20 to the OP. FF is a mandatory game component - it would give me something more to repair and a way to lay down the law with another blue dot, settle grudges, and it would give me a whole lot more to repair. |

You could make it so you don't lose your fit if killed by FF in pub matches. No WP gain for FF kills. FF kills lock your SP and ISK for 1 minute so you are not rewarded no matter what you do. Penalty stacks up to 3 times. After 3 have stacked then you are kicked from the match and all ISK/SP/WP gained are confiscated.
First FF kill doesn't penalize you (accepted as an accident) unless it's within the redline.
Give FF to explosives only.
I personally would rather not go along with the whole FF thing but if it was to be implemented then this is how I would like it to be done.
