I know I'm not the only one. I am just bored to tears with this game. I can't even bring myself to ask my friends to join me because the game still sucks as much as it did months ago when they last tried it.
Don't get me wrong, I am a huge CCP and DUST fanboy. My friends can attest to that.
This game feels very stale, there is no link to EVE and no sense of permanence for solo players or small squads/corps
The game runs at a crappy inconsistent frame rate, the graphics actually get worse with each patch, probably as an attempt to fix the frame rate.
CCP won't communicate with us on a regular basis about what's going on with the game, they just say "oh 1.4 will be big but we can't tell you in what way" why the hell can't you? Are you embarrassed by how little you have to show?

Cute post but...yes I like surprises. Unfortunately every patch since the E3 beta build has been a huge disappointment. The game crawled to a stop in progress and if they think its anywhere near done then I pray for them. The horrible wonky frame rate alone is game breaking.
I have been playing this game since the eve players got invites, way back in the skirmish 1.0 build, and I can say that I am completely stunned that after all that testing and time THIS is the game we have.
The biggest pisser tho is that CCP still won't communicate with us. It's like a different company is making this game altogether. When I play EVE I don't feel shafted like this, we get lots of updates and dialogue. |

btw FFXIV is release in 7 days for me, how is it you'll get it in 4 days?
Even the devblogs for dust are underwhelming, and since a lot of the stuff gets cut from them anyway, it's hard to get excited about the contents. Remember that dev blog that showed the new equipment they were adding? When is that coming?
Remember when they said there'd be a skill point cap rollover, then they said there were currently no plans to implement it?
I demand CCP give us a roadmap of their next years plan for this game. I want to know the theme and goal of every patch and I want to know what they expect this game to look and play like in one year. I doubt they even know but if they can produce a plan, I'm all aboard for it, if not...I don't even know. |

IWS I appreciate you giving some attention to this thread, you are one of the two guys who are worth a **** on this forum.
That list you called the roadmap, is that all stuff to be done within the next four months? What specific stuff is coming in 1.4? Any content or just fixes? |

You mean DUST had so many people play the BETA it broke the servers? and they fixed it within 24 hours? AND they extended the beta by 5 hours to at least try and make up for the time lost? wow you and me must be getting different products from CCP.
