Yeah, they're calling it Valkyrie now.
Remember this year's FanFest where they showed that cube model of New Eden, with Dust and EVE represented on either side, and then a possible future game marked "???" in the middle?
Now they reveal this and describe it as related to both games.
Extrapolate from that what you will.  |

Anyone here notice that the article mentioned that this Eve Valkyrie game is said to not have the complexity of either Eve or DUST? Sounds like a completely independent game to me. Not that it's a bad thing. |

Well the complexity aspect hasn't really translated so well into DUST in comparison to EVE, so it's probably for the best.
Besides, you're flying fighters, I imagine they'd be pretty stock. |

Maybe eve vr is the step,which brings us dusters closer to eve online.Maybe this means that we finally get to attack eve players,really get the feeling we are doing something important in new eden,and last but not least, we get the possibility to board and invade those massive space-ships. |

VR looks way more fun than Dust. I won't have to wait for fighters to come to Dust so I'm pretty happy. I hope it comes out for the PS4. |

I'm pretty damn sure that's PC only, man. Nothing has ever been said about Rift support for consoles, especially considering Sony has their own VR headset that they're working on, and EVR was designed entirely around that hardware.

Sooooooo....
We have EVE here which is a decent game,
and DUST which is nowhere near where it needs to be... The "link" between DUST and EVE is honestly pretty much nonexistant at this point, BUT CCP is making a THIRD game that PERHAPS might tie in to both games?
PLEASE STOP MAKING ME LAUGH ITS KILLING ME
In a year or two when we perhaps have the promises and somewhat of the original vision of DUST that was given three years ago, lets talk about getting hyped for a third game to tie in... but honestly, I couldn't care less about a third game at this point when I really only care about DUST in a intellectual sort of way at this point... |
