Here's the thing, I don't think you can destroy an alliance in this game just by taking districts they are unable to fight in. And this is for a few reasons.
1. The alliances A-teams and even B-teams will likely still be kicking serious ass in each match they play in. Even if they lose districts in fights they couldn't participate in, they will still feel like badasses cause they are winning the actual fights with full teams.
2. Lets say this is successful and a ton of districts get flipped, but what happens when their districts timers are manageable and they can use their A and B teams in each fight? They might lose 150 districts, but will probably be impossible to take the last 30. best bet at this point is burnout, but I'm sure before that happens will be bankruptcy among in the attacking indi corps from all the losses.
The key to breaking a corp or alliance, is consistent losses. The best players of this game cannot stand to lose, and will start generating drama amongst eachother blaming this person and that person for the losses... and before you know it, most everything falls apart.
I honestly don't think anybody can crumble EoN unless they are repeatedly getting their asses kicked while using their A/B-teams. |

Yes burnout is one way to accomplish that, but IMO the ones that will burnout faster are the ones losing over and over and spending billions of ISK to maintain constant attacks.
If EoN's A/B players are constantly winning and getting 2+ million ISK a match, I'm sure that is preferable to pubs. And if their timers are at times they normally play anyway, it's win-win for them. |

That said. It's going to be a fun 2 days, but if you think a swarm of mostly no-name corps are going to make any kind of a significant dent you're clearly on some form of hallucinogenic. |

Even if EON burns, the same players will still rule Molden Heath because they're the elite 300+400 vets who still play. At this point, I feel like everyone who was here since at least January knows everyone else who is still here, by now. Seriously, if I play a PC battle against a Corp that is at least C-list, I know every player on the player list and their favorite load out. Molden Heath is too small.
Sure, I support the destruction of Mainstream the Alliance, but what I really want is a these indie corps to not be indie corps anymore. If I could see some new faces in PC it would be great. I keep fighting the same damn tankers every single game and I never lose a 1 v 1. Ironically, I'll play pubs and face tankers in corps I've never heard of and I'll tie with them sometimes even lose by a tank or Twp...WHY ISNT THAT GUY IN PC!?
Then LeGoose...a relatively newer player I played a couple nights ago was tearing people up with a standard SG almost as well asAnnie and Calamity used to- how come he can't be in PC!?
NO, the answer is not "join a better corp", the answer is to open up more space for corps to own so that these guys who want the play with their friends in their own corps have a chance.
Just my two cents. |

I personally don't get the whole CCP should open up more space for PC. MH is already too big for the lack of corps/alliances in this game. Expand the game as the playerbase shrinks? I don't know maybe someone could share how this will make it better. If its about making more room for indies to play and have fun whats to stop people from taking it and we end up we we are now.
We don't need more districts/planets we need more serious corps/alliances. |

"No name" corps? You know, I didn't really care about this whole thing before. As a matter of fact, I was sort of sympathizing with Eon because of some of the things said in this thread.
