I didn't hate Eon until one of their members referred to corps like ours as "no name". That's disrespectful. You'd think as the largest alliance, they'd be more supportive of smaller up and coming groups. Maybe even get some of those "no name" groups to side with them and keep players involved in this game to keep it going. They have no right to condescend indie corps, I don't care how big they are. |

As a member of a no name corp myself, I have to say your corp is also pretty no name too.
Seeing as how our corp is only 22 days old, I understand your view. However, it doesn't mean we're "no name" anymore than you are. So we're not as big as SVER, the EoN alliance or whatever. Doesn't give other groups the right to look down at small corps just because they're bigger.
Take Dust U and the Ivy League guys. Those guys are the definition of class. They're all great, and they help new guys and smaller corps out with advice and whatnot, without looking for any sort of repayment or reward. I've had nothing but great experiences with them, and they are proof that an alliance can be big, yet not be complete pricks. They actually DO something for the Dust 514 community as a whole, not just try to take over everything. In a lot of ways, they keep an indie mentality. We could all learn something from guys like that. |
