 Small railgun turrets efficacy is bugged at 49% throughout all of its usable ranges. Whats worse is that it doesn't hit where you're aiming at when your vehicle is slanted.
 
 This has been a problem since Uprising 1.0 and has been reported several times and is still an issue.

 My alt* was in a Large Rail Gun Installation last night. Since I had downloaded the weapon damage/distance google doc I looked at the range and efficiency values when sighting on several targets.
 
 The efficiency was 109% for everything regardless of range, although I did not have a target past 520m.
 
 However, all additional shots dropped to 89%. Unless I let the heat drop completely back to Zero. Then it would have to spool back up, making the time to the second shot nearly six seconds. A strange decision on how a gun should work. As in ... wrong.
 
 Seriously what the heck is that about? I have yet to run KR and test the results in a HAV.
 
 Now, because of your meddling, I will have to check the SBT under various situations.
 
 I did an extensive study of Small Missile Turrets some time back and have determined that many, if not all, blaster and missile turrets (any multi fire solution) will send the first round in a direction that does not make any sense. At All. Totally broken, never responded to and never fixed.
 
 Probably not understood.

Thats interesting, the efficacy dropping 20% in efficacy after the first shot is weird. Also I'm making google spreadsheet that has tons of info on vehicle turrets Here the thread I made about it.

 I was talking about those guys who think the efficiancy drops after the first shot .. lol .. NOPE. only shield went down and you startet to hit armor.

Thats probably what happened since the gap is 20% and rails do +10/-10% to armor and shields; Kal must have been shooting something like a CRU with no shields that recharged a little bit of it in-between shots.

 first rails don't have a drop off in damage with range. second this issue has been an issue since before closed beta, fix this CCP.

 Anyone else find it odd that vehicle railgun and large turrets do more damage against shields while handheld railguns like forge and sniper rifles supposedly do more damage against armor? Very odd.

 Yes please. The game would be substantially different if small rails actually worked as AV. Situations where you'd normally go "welp, guess I'll respawn with AV" will instead be "better find a safe place to call down my rail lav".
