1. invisible swarms need fix. 2. explosive to armor damage needs fix(with tanks, suits, everything it does glitched damage, estimated 135% instead of the 120% like its supposed to.) 3. all swarms should have gradual turns in their flight path, instead of doing a 90 degree turn when they are close to the target.
BOOM, fixed. All of these are bugs, and they make swarms more effective than they should be, the swarms dont need a nerf, the bugs just need fixing. |

FINALY, someone that underlines the GLITCHES involved with swarms instead of crying for a nerf. Even as a tanker I still hate unrational nerf threads more than swarms (and lai dai av nades). |

In reality it does about 135% damage. Its glitched.
Also, its funny that the ingame description of swarms says the war heads are programed to dodge counters. I guess ccp should fix the invisible flares (or whatever) my tank is deploying because I cant see it right now. |

Too add, though. I think they should release ADV/PRO vehciles to contend with the ADV/PRO SLs and AV grenades. I used to say they need a nerf too, but perhaps these fixes will solve the problem...
However, AV grenades do a ridiculous amount of DPS to armor for how easy they are to utilize...
The damage explosive damage should do to armor should be more like %115-%120 tops, in my opinion. |

So where is this 135% damage figure comming from?
Give them a buff against shield damage or a base damage buff and maybe making them less maneuverable doesnt seem so stupid, given how crap there range is. Hard enough to take out HAV on towers and hiding way behind the redline is already. 400m seems really great until the target moves and they burn most of their range through tracking.
A really useful fix would be fixing their bugging lock on mechanism. People crying about SL like you can fire it dumbfire into groups of people like a MD/FP.

90deg turns were a fix to drop ships being unhitable by swarm, frankly I agree tho swarm should move fast and turn slow, so you have to dodge them not out run them, tho that might make the invisible swarms worse..........

Increase the projectile speed and I'll gladly sacrifice some damage. Taking out LLAVs is almost impossible, they can outrun the swarms easily and hide.
A direct fire option would also be nice as the locking system is patchy in a lot of scenarios. |

Don't know either, seems like they never tried to, you know, actually use one. One proto Swarm Launcher can't kill an ADS or skilled tanker* alone, that's actually damn hard to do.
When a tank is driving in the open and/or stands still with no cover for half of the match he deserves to loose his vehicle.
*except militia tanks |

Also i can lock through cover with basic swarms and the missiles love to avoid cover completely too

Definitely agree on 1 Need some evidence to back up your claim on 2 and honestly 3 would be an improvement since they wouldnt correct so much and crash into the terrain as often and we actually would be able to bank shots around corners |
