Just curious cause I tend to run into it a lot where I get into a gun fight and sometimes even surprised someone with the same custom armor and gun as what I'm using but I absolutely get wasted where as I barely dent their shield. I have one of the light damage 3.0 mods and got some proficiencies in AR but man it wrecks me even from far away. Is it just the build because right now I'm shooting to maybe work on getting more SP to put into AR before working on my dropsuit. |

Depends what weapon.
But until you get the Complex, I wouldn't recommend using them at all, 3% Extra damage isn't that much. |

Yes OP damage mods make a good amount of difference. Try them with high-alpha weapons like the Sniper and you'll notice the difference right away. Although the guy that killed you probably had some SP in weapon proficiency skills as well. |

Jeez, well I guess I'll invest skills in dropsuits so I can get more cpu because I am currently using a Medium Caldari suit with 150 so I can't equip much in terms of extra stuff. |

you do know that you can raise cpu by raising electronics core skill? going for the next tier suit before core skilling is generally a mistake. |

Oh, I didn't know. I get a bit confused when looking at the skills. Also I know this is off topic but really quick does anyone know how to get on top of the mushroom building on the one map. It's getting frustrating cause I see people on it all the time and want to sneak up on them but don't know how.

you can certainly feel the difference when you put them into your fit, but you have to trade ehp for it, so it's a judgement call. |

Yes, and that's one of the main advantages to armor tanking. You can allow more DPS without loss of main defense.
Sure you can't stack shield on there as a buff but when you drop people that fast who needs a buff.
Although to fit two damage mod and not have to sacrifice anything to your suit takes A LOT of SP. It took me to get Light Weapon Level 5, Engineering Level 5, Electronics level 5, Core upgrades level 5 and Explosives level 5 just to be able to fit my suit without sacrifices (Although when the Gallente Ion pistol comes out I might be in trouble).
I spent 18 million SP alone into getting my Assault suit where I wanted it to be. So don't start speccing into damage mods yet to stack them on there. The passive damage skill is first priority.
Also you can only have the load out I have with the Gallente suit which has the CPU/PG reduction bonus |

Well that sucks since my bonus SP just ran out. I kind of wish that you can get a bit more for winning the match. Now I'm back to 400 a pop. Is the bonus for new players? Also how do you unlock more slots for mods? Sorry for all the questions but I want to understand a few things because like all new players, I'm getting frustrated from getting my butt handed to me^^ |

Bonus SP is allocated every week... on Wednesdays I think. Its kind of like a limiter for those who play overmuch to allow slower players to catch up. |

The amount that they give you now has never been changed from the times where things were much cheaper SP wise. 500,000 used to cut it back then but now, not so much. |

I never it see it though, even after we rake up quite a bit of points. I played Ambush where the team has been doing well and it up by like 50 to 25, then the other team just sits in a spot with like five nanohives and spams nades and MD. It's infuriating because I'll get behind them since I've seen this before in other games but I wish that there was something that you could use to get teams like this because they are easy targets when they do this but people just bum rush in and give them kills. I know there are times when a precision strike would help but it seems like I never see one available and I check every so often in a match. I wish there was an alert or something for that. It seems kind of wrong that only one person can trigger it. We may have it but the leader doesn't know how to use it. I've been seeing it quite a bit lately. It's not like everyone is in formed squad. How would randoms know who the leader is? |

problem is your hoping a random team will pull together like an organized unit. you have to organize a squad before entering a game, and even that is hit and miss until you find other players you click with.
TLDR: don't rely on the randoms to do anything smart |
