To enter this difficulty you must use any of the following:
- Laser rifle
- Commando
- Plasma Cannon
Scout users get out, you can make speed fits to do hit-n-run tactics. I tried using the Commando AK.0 again but so far this was the most frustrating experience I had on Dust. By no means this can even be treated as a support role as it only has one equipment slot and the suit HP is terrible (even a guy in STD fit could beat me easily). On this suit I used a Proto Plasma Cannon with 2 dmg Mods but thanks to the ****** splash radius I would rarely get to inflict the full damage (there's also the reload bug  ). Unlike other Heavies where I can move through open areas and survive, I'm always stuck in one spot just waiting for my team to make a push with GOOD dropsuits. Laser rifle is a joke so I haven't even bothered using it especially since it's far better to use a Tactical AR.
To CCP: Why can't you simply tweak those stats in a correct manner so that they're actually worth using? Why do you keep relying so heavily on internal data and random feedback from unknown players? Why aren't some of you unable to PROPERLY field test the items made to discover flaws?

Sounds like fun, I'll have to invest a lot of sp though to get the kit.

Been playing with the PC here and there, I like it enough that I am going to get enough levels in proficiency to get the rapid reload. Been alternating from vehicle skills to weapon skills as of late, dumped a bunch into MD the last time and it sure has it uses and is a fun diversion but the pc is far more satisfying to get a kill with. |

Commando should've just been a Scout thing.
Whats the point in using a Heavy suit, that cant equip Heavy weapons? |

But it's exactly what the assault crowd has wanted. An AV weapon while still being able to pub stomp. |

Funny, I thought the Commando suit was for Snipers to carry Swarm Launchers and be able to tank the counter sniping. Given the openness of the current maps, there is no hiding from either of those weapons.
Now if you want me to wear a commando suit, fitting a laser and plasma cannon... Ugh |

In that case nightmare mode is:
- militia scout suit
- dual flaylocks militia
- a militia sidearm damage mod
- an armor repper
- and a cup for the tears of the people you kill with headshots.
