And I was blown away, its too freaking easy to use and kill. Its such an easy weapon.
But its boring.
As a speciality weapon user (MD, Laser, Shotguns, Plasma Cannon soon), I found it way too easy to use.
Moreover the fitting requirements are so freaking low.
The AR needs to be toned down a bit, not in damage but in recoil.
The damn thing has no freaking recoil at all.
Next Please bring the fitting requirements of other weapons down to the AR level or raise the AR ones up, its not fair cause some weapons have nearly double the requirement. |

Well I played about for a while in chromosome only with the militia assault rifle, then I switched to Mass Drivers, never used them in Uprising.
I only used them due to my "Black Eagle" Suit which I saved for so long. |

Look at the real-world Kalashnikov AK-47. Effective, rugged, yet easy to use that a 7-year-old kid can learn how to use it in 5 minutes.
That thing has killer recoil you know, man I just said to increase the damn recoil. |

The AR is not OP. It's not a one shot kill weapon. If the opposing player has prepped his dropsuit appropriately for those ARs, then the AR user will have to use strategy and skill to take him down. Then it can be argued that their suit is OP.
Silly thread, tricks are for kids
I think people are failing to see the point here, what I am trying to say is the AR needs some recoil when in ADS, cause it literally sprays like a laser when in ADS.
The other thing mentioned was about the fitting requirements which is low for the AR which considerable higher for some other weapons. |

Speciality weapons are my type cause its really fun, MD is a bit overpowered now though.

An AK 47 DOES NOT have recoil, thats a stupid internet rumor created by armchair warriors who've never fired a gun in their lives. Fire some 00 buck from a 12g pump with a wooden stock, THATS recoil. Yes exactly my thoughts, shotguns and sniper rifles are supposed to have deadly recoil. For assault rifles its much less but when you go full auto its get tough to handle it.
