but incidentally there is no skill involved in camping on a roof spamming an explosive weapon (looking at you dark cloud) that's the kind of crap we did when we were 10 on N64 games. I didn't think this was an arcade spam fest.
And then there's running people over with LAVs. Nobody tries to use anything which uses skill in this game so I believe it is a moot point. There is very little skill involved in the game because everybody is flocking to the thing which requires the least skill to use.
This is the definition of FoTM. This is what gamers do. The constant quest for the easiest to use, most effective weapon available. Whether it's the LR, the HMG, the Flaylock, or the MD. All they do is try to satisfy the urge for the majority to feel better about their gaming.
This is why after 4 months, I'm giving up the MD (fearing the future nerf) and now going with Dual Scrambler pistols. After trying the scout suit, I've moved back to my Adv Gal assault suit to improve my TTL while working on my gun game. The breach softens em up, the KiLO (I think that's what it is) to put em down. Just got my first headshot kill in a 1v1, which turned into a grenade kill on his buddy who came to help.
In the end, it doesn't matter the weapon. The more you use it, the better you get with it. Pretty soon I'll start a trend, and the forum trolls will be calling for a nerf on the Scramber Pistol. |

I came around beginning of March I think. Chromosome was in full effect. My gun game pretty much sucks, so I choose to be a spray and pray guy and quickly leaned away from the pistols to the SMG. That's been my sidearm of choice, and was a good CQB backup for the Chromo/Uprising 1.1 MD. Now, I only really need it when I'm running low on MD ammo and can't disengage to find a hive. Which lately has been pretty frequently as I don't die nearly as often now that my tanking skills are improving.
With the armor updates coming, I foresee myself dying less and less, and my headshots steadily improving. If they've already been nerfed, I might be looking good for the next year at least. |
