Well try 14 people on each side on the Oceania server. Everyone who plays on those servers are pissed because everyone AFKs . I really don't afk but I support it, get out of our damn server. |

Maybe the issue should be "we are against AFKing in general." And, shouldn't be "we are against YOU AFKing in MY server."
The way they are protesting is USA server vs Oceanic server but is the enemy a group of people or a the concept of AFKing? |

Yeah, CCP is making sure to "take some steps" and solve this by releasing some content and a new hotfix SOONGäó. |

They say Dust is dying but the majority of the community isn't helping it either.
And what is so messed up about all this is that I really like this game. I don't AFK. I don't spell doom every 5 seconds. Yet, those folks are the ones who keep coming back and spreading their horse poop over my enjoyable experience.
Sometimes it gets on my nerves. Like really, go somewhere if you not into this game or wish to just get a contract that you actually don't work for. It's getting beyond ridiculous now. I can't even enjoy a good skirmish because of AFKers. In fact, I rarely play it because of them. I don't know what to do about these folks but I hope some good idea comes about that greatly reduces the amount of AFKing. |

one person kicked a bunch of people, then stole the corp wallet... before PC was even a part of the game.

In case you havent noticed... Oceanic has become the afk farm server. I've seen 16 v 16 matches with 1 person running around capping then deciding to leave match, because no one else has actually left the MCC. That is what this is about. Oceanic is where you go to AFK because you'd rather not **** in your own backyard :P ..ie:American Server.
CCP doesn't actually have to do anything about AFK'ing.... if CEO's would just control their members, let them know that its not cool to AFK and boot them if they do :P
Oh wait that would be proactive... |

I wish it were so easy Bill but I suspect that this is something that is going to have to be fixed by CCP. The incentive to AFK needs to be removed it is as simple as that. I totally understand what the Oceana folks are mad about since I get angry when one person is AFKing in a match. Its a fine protest that I support 100%. |

As the CEO representing a large portion of said players on those servers, of course I'll stick my neck out for them. The number of times Australian and New Zealand players have complained about the AFK farming happening on our server is tremendous, and someone has to take a stand. I'm put forward a Call to AFK... calling on Oceanic People, Asian Server Inhabitants, and even EU Server Inhabitants to AFK on US servers.
Why? Because maybe you'll bugger off and leave us to play enjoyable games on the servers earmarked for our region.
Even AFKing in your US MCCs, people were yelling at me on TEAM chat to go AFK on the Oceanic Serevrs... to quote "that's the AFK Farm, dude." Whether they realised what I was doing at that point or not is irrelevant.
But seeing a hate thread on my actions warms my heart.
And as others have said... try game after game after game with 10+ AFK in the MCC... that's what the Oceanic Server has come to. |

No, you are here crying about AFKing and acting like its a product of America.
All the servers are flooded with AFKing, not just yours. The reason its so bad for you is because Oceania server is a ghost town, so ALL afkers, from ALL servers hop into it to AFK, which makes the largely biased games with majority of people afking on one or both teams.
Acting like Americans are the sole problem of your plight, simply because its the only other language you know how to read "Hay Guise!, lets der AFK in the Oceania server, hue hue!" from some jackass on the forums, means you are either extremely racist or incredibly ignorant.
After reading a few of your posts on these forums, I'll go with the former. |

I've only been around the Dust for a couple months....still can't understand posts like this. If you aren't into the game, don't play it. Still can't figure why someone would take the time to troll forums about a game that "sucks".
As for AFK... I can't stand it. I like to pop on the Oceania server to play with new folks and it can be a bit barren. I absolutely understand Black Jackels comments but I don't see how it helps or garners support to AFK back at another server.
