First i would like to state that i am in no way claiming them to be overpowered. in fact i rather enjoy the idea of obliterating my enemy with a bombardment from the stars.
but i have recently realized that they are the reason we don't have many WP benefits on a variety of things.
such as Mobile CRU spawns. scanning. repairing vehicles. and the WP cap on repairing infantry.
its not the strike itself as much as how its earned.
i have heard time and time again that the above would be exploitable.
well why would it be exploitable? because how fast you get skill points? NO it would be exploitable because of how many precision strikes you would earn
so how do you fix this cap WP gain have low WP gain NO AGAIN you fix it by changing the way precision strikes are earned
what do you change it to then?
well it would need to be un-exploitable and that good hard working mercs could still earn them for their effort on the battlefield.
so here's where i need the help of you the community.
what would be a good method of obtaining precision strikes that wouldn't be exploitable
i ask for your help so that those mercs that deserve WP for doing what they do get the WP they deserve.

Actually, given that winning doesn't matter and that you get SP as a factor of WP (to a certain extent), exploitable WP gains would lead to imbalances SP gain. Exploit a few matches + spend rest of week grinding over cap = profit. Or just spend less time playing, I guess. |

Why does it matter, if I can chase around infantry the whole game repping their armor and reviving them and get 2200 WP a match then why I can't I even get 1000 WP for repping vehicles and having a scanner on, it's just as helpful. |

i like them but it seems they are the reason the "exploitable" methods of WP gain aren't in game yet 
come on CCP they wouldn't be very exploitable
