dragons teeth - these are self assembling devices which once deployed (3B /4A /6P) assemble themselves into 2m square immovable objects. the purpose is to provide ways of defending positions from vehicles by denying them access unless they destroy the blocks with all methods at their disposal except swarms as they cant lock them.
it should only be deployable on flat ground same as any other deployable device.
damage would be equal both ways for impact damage from vehicles. if your in a lav you can ram it to destroy it but sustain damage yourself. essentially you could weaken a path through from a distance and while people are taking cover you could ram your lav through the weakened dragons teeth or just chain lav's. the first ones might blow but take the dragons teeth with them allowing the others to break through.
there should be 2 different types.
preemptive dragons teeth - high hp, take longer to construct, cpu/pg intensive looks like a block of concrete, offers complete LOS cover. on deployment the device launches a nano swarm which gathers resources from the surrounding area to form a solid block which is used to provided an obstruction to vehicles over a long duration. these are generally used to reinforce positions which are vulnerable to fast vehicle attack. these can take sustained small arms fire but are susceptible to most heavy weapon damage
reactive dragons teeth - low hp, short construction time, less cpu/pq intensive, offers limited cover as smaller than the other type and looks like a steel caltrop. on deployment the device launches a nano swarm which gathers resources from the surrounding area to form a lightweight metal caltrop which provides limited obstruction to vehicles. these are designed to be deployed as and when necessary on a situational basis such as trapping vehicle retreat routes etc. these are susceptible to most forms of damage
dont forget to like keep on topic, this is not a deployable shield
