There not only giving armor more hp, there making them faster too, and then on top of both of those things your gonna make shields take even longer to start healing??? umm soo...armor gets (2 different types of buffs)..and shields gets a nerf. Ever heard of over doing it ffs. Now instead of slightly op shields we'll have super op armor. I honestly dont know what to say wow w/e. |

Lol this is a buff for everybody not just armor tanks, most people dual tank anyways. I have built a bunch of dropsuits and the Caldari suits are still superior to armor suits, the only difference is that the total HP is the same but this doesn't mean they take the same beating 100 shield HP>100 armor. Also the shield delay penalty won't be coming unless the armor buff is not enough, and really it isn't because everybody and their grandma dual tanks, so the next method of action is removing dual tank or making it harder and from there seeing if the penalty is necessary.
I dont think the penalty will be, hopefully its not applied after this, but you have a point ill be using some plates lol. =) |

Arkena Wyrnspire wrote:Consider that a complex plate will only yield 20 more HP after the buff with a slightly reduced speed penalty. Please explain how that catapults armour from underpowered to 'super overpowered'.
Also, the shield nerf is only going to be applied IF the armour buffs are deemed insufficient. They're not going in straight off, and it's not an attribute that will seriously reduce your tank.
I think enough ppl has said that its only going to happen if needed now, also speed decrease by 50% imo isnt a slight change, and it would be super op if... (armor got all that with the shield nerf probably wont be without the shield nerf) |
