I like the battle statistics and graphs you added a few patches ago. While the information they provide may or may not actually be useful, they certainly look good and that should never be underestimated. Complex and/or good looking graphs impress people and make them feel good! ;) Anyway, the other day I came to think of a graph that I would not only look good but also be quite useful -- namely WP gains over time (I usually notice when I get a kill or die, but I often miss other WP gains).
It should be similar to the kills and deaths over time graph (WP on the X-axis and time on the Y-axis). Each WP gain should be marked with either a tiny icon or be colour coded to indicate what the source was (nanohive, dropsuit repair, vehicle repair, kill, objective hack, vehicle hack etc.).
If possible, active fitting should also be displayed along the timeline. Actually, that would also be very useful for the kills/deaths graph. |

Almost forgot:
There should also be a table listing the different WP sources and what percentage of your total WP was from that source. |

Not to mention:
This should be easy to implement and the improvement is obvious to all players -- i.e. players noticing improvements vs. development time is far higher than, say, fixing some low level glitch or gotcha. Also, you can hand the ticket to your rookie coder.
Really, I see no reason why you shouldn't be able to squeeze this into 1.4 ;). |

Django Quik wrote:Gotta be careful not to be adding too much info to the stats screen. It could easily become overcrowded and make it difficult to see anything useful. If it doesn't fit they can simply add another tab for WP stats. Thanks for bringing it up, another thing I forgot in my first post ;). |

Gave this some more thought:
It would also be neat to get details on each WP gain by navigating/moving along the timeline. Things like who you killed (maybe the suit they were wearing etc.), who you repaired, what kind of vehicle was destoyed / repaired etc. This is just extra fluff though, skip or postpone it if it would delay implementation of what's requested in the OP. |

Hmpf, apparently this had fallen all the way to page four and got overlooked for the "weekly updates" update... I'd rather not spend next week bumping this, but I suppose that's where it's at :P. |

Somehow I doubt this will be seen on page 10. If only there was a way of knowing when they've read stuff here... |

Too much activity in this forum... but since this hasn't been mentioned in the weekly update yet it should go back to page one again. |

Some sing, any sign, that a dev has even noticed this thread would be welcome... Hell, at this point I'd even take a "locked for bumping" as long as it's from a dev rather than a GM or forum mod ;). |
