Like, it's an even worse version of the basic heavy suit. I dunno, I just don't see how it's useful... If someone could explain it, that would be awesome.
Also, this is probably the biggest derp idea, but I'm thinking i'm gunna be a repping commando, just for ***** and giggles. |

Cool, cool cool....
Already started specing into scrambler rifles, but boo that the MD is the only light weapon that's a lot effective against armor.
And I'm going to have to save up a fucks ton of SP and just throw it all into repair tools.... Yeah, I'mma be badassed heavy repair man. No one is going to want to see one heavy getting repped by another heavy... Hahahahahahaha, they'd go blind!

Yeah, I noticed they have like 240 melee damage... Too bad the std suit has no mod slots |

Yeah, tell that to Arnold Schwarzenegger.
He killed a small country by himself to rescue Alyssa Milano. |

Yeah, tell that to Arnold Schwarzenegger. He killed a small country by himself to rescue Alyssa Milano. Front lines are a meat grinder total waste of a person with that that high of a specialized skill., No matter! At least 3-quarters of our player base are stupid enough to jump into the meat grinder!
Hahahaha, I was just making a joke. I know well enough that a heavy at the front line is usually the first to die. That's why even when I tried running medic commando I camped objectives with other heavies.
Unfortunately I died even faster than if I just stayed in my basic advanced suit.
But like a couple of the earlier replies, I just skilled into commando because I was getting bored with the basic and sentinel.

Yeah, when I saw that I was happy, but then I checked the speed and was like "Oh, so they have to be melee-ing me or zoomed in with a sniper rifle and not paying attention for it to work..."
But hopefully people are using the suit to give CCP good numbers.
I know when I'm feeling frisky I'm going to run Medi-fat regardless of the situation and not give up on it just because of bad games, because eventually I'll have all of the core skills at 5 so I won't need to spec into proto to tear stuff up. |

Commando Suit Bonus: 5% reduction to reload speed of light/sidearm weapons per level.
Amarr Commando Bonus: +2% to efficacy of shield and armor modules per level.
They're great bonuses but specing into anything heavy is SP intensive. To me it seems like there's very little incentive to shift to that suit, but that's probably because I spend my SP as soon as I get it.... and I only have ~4 million SP.
I'm still going to spec into it, but I just don't get why it's a heavy suit except for it's speed and melee damage... that made it very obvious.
