I just got killed by a breach forge gunner that I was pushing because you all want this to be more like Call of Duty, thus having collision damage reduced to being a joke.
Please. Go to Call of Duty where you don't have to deal with vehicles at all. Until CCP says they're removing vehicles, you'll have to deal with them all the time. And we WILL find ways to deal with the nerfs they throw at us, like we dealt with the PG nerf. You could have tried you know...shooting him? You do have a gun...right? That is still required correct? You must think I'm a 12 year old without a fully developed brain. The question still remains, why didn't you just shoot him? Had to go for the equivalent of a "360 No Scope" huh? I was using a railgun. You really, honestly think I didn't try shooting him too? He was using the breach and bunny hopping around as if he was using the assault variant. I was never, ever able to do that during Chromosome because I was dead. right. there.
so, he was bunny hoping with a Breach huh? thats great since it means he's not charging his weapon so I don't see what your problem was, you see in exchange for the immense fire power the breach FG has, you can't move while charging it except crouch |

Has no one noticed that the heavy the OP mentioned was unny hopping with a Breach Forge gun? |

You really think the breach forge gun completely locks you where you are, no turning at all? Like I said, I was never able to bunny hop while using a breach forge. The guy was charging it while doing that. I would assume you have some SP to spare. Try something: get a MLT heavy suit, get the breach forge, and try it yourself. I would right now, but I'm boosting an alt.
I may have understood and misread, I apologize. I used the breach when I first started on Dust since the idea of being an anti-tank soldier just sounded cool to me, I could turn and crouch but not jump and/or move while charging. It may have changed since I don't know but did you mean he hopped first and while in mid air was charging? |

maybe because LAVs have speed and trough speed you gain force? Which one do you think will more likely run through your house? 1000 pound jeep at full speed or 50 ton tank at walking pace? Answer: Tank.... Edit: It's so funny and also frustrating that when the corner of your tank even slightly touches the corner of a container at any speed, your tank will come to complete top and will not move forwards when in real life you would just run through a container with your tank even when full collision happens instead of a nonexistent collision. You will be get stuck in your tank if you just try to drive 10 inches away from obstacles in this game... Edit 2: So my conclusion is that if you cannot run over air, why should you be allowed to run over infantry? Edit 3: At least in chromosome you could run over infantry with your tank but you would just come to a complete halt after running over infantry.
To be fair it IS more likely to the jeep, as far as I know not many people own tanks outside of the army, If a Jeep came smashing through my house I'd be shocked and confused. If a tank did however my reacton would be a bit more extreme |
