considering that the heavy suit is designed to be able to go toe-to-toe with vehicles, so it really needs the armor. |

You ever been chased down by a heavy? cause that's gonna be a thing now. no longer can the scouts run away with all their delicious, baconlike suit insides!

Gallente heavy with a blaster heavy machine gun VS Heavy Armor Blaster Tank Caldari heavy with an assault forge gun VS Heavy Shield Railgun Tank
current state of tanks? caldari wins against both, gallente beats railtank. |

no, it's defensive since you need a significantly higher amount of time to regen it. and really, stacking damage mods does make sense from a defensive standpoint. What's the fastest way to break down the enemy's resolve at your gate? A nice, big, pile o' bodies you created from relative safety using cover from an entrenched position, and you have the health to withstand a coordinated push. |

An armor-tanked scout (i.e., a scout at its very slowest) should be able to gain 40 meters on a speed-tanked Sentinel with one sprint, if they start sprinting at the same time. And that's in just the first 12.5 seconds while the heavy is sprinting--the scout gets to keep going for another 7.5 seconds at more than twice the heavy's speed. Not making any arguments, just thought I could shed some light on the numbers.
thank you for murdering the joke. |
