Domination match;
I'm sorted into a team with pretty much nothing but Ancient Exiles and a couple of randoms.
The other team? Blueberries.
This was the longest stomp that I've ever seen. Their team, the highest number of kills a person had; 1. Two people had one kill a piece. 16 deaths was the highest number of deaths for them. The average looked to be about ten deaths.
Our team; 28/0 for the top score followed by a number of 20/0s.
The highest number of deaths? 2.
Matchmaking really needs to hurry. |

how may of those people were in tanks on the stomp side, since people claim they're going 30/40+ right this second, and did you see their score? |

I believe there was only one tanker who was busy guarding the objective. The stomping was done by most of the Djinns, me (I really just wanted the WPs/SPs, sorry guys :( ) and a couple of others.
There was one guy using a LAV, I'm not sure who, but I watched him wipe out about ten guys. |

so the tank didn't get many kills? not surprised. but then again, people do like to lie so they can oneshot a prototank with a mlt swarm. |

I've seen some tankers stomp but it's rare that I see a match with 40/0. I run with a friend who is consistently 20-30 kills with about 6-7 deaths being the highest; he's a heavy.
Yeah, the tanker on our team was just watching over the objective. I think he got 2/3 kills. It was the worst sort of pubstomping of its kind. They were going into the red line, driving the LAV into the red line and I was sniping from above them, on the edge of their redline. |

Today I was on the wrong end of a terrible pub stomp (the enemy had 3 objectives before my team even got to the first one), but I took advantage of it, with some foresight for how the fighting on the map usually plays out.
I went with my scout, threw down an uplink, and played the back objective. Ended up on the top of my team, going 1-0. If you're a scout, I highly suggest getting codebreakers, because they helped a lot for that. It was also sortof funny that the other team never bothered looking for the guy who hacks everything as soon as they turn their backs. |

This is how I typically play, with a combination of counter-sniping. Snipers are picking the same spots over and over again, so I post up and take them out first before sneaking in to do a little hacking. Mostly, I do this to lure them onto the REs.
I don't play to 'win' anymore. I play to kill. I 'win' my own personal battles that I define.
This didn't feel like winning, though. I just didn't want to lose out on SP/ISK.

For instant battles, I just play to make ISK. If I feel like throwing a ton of it into winning, I go into FW and bring out my super-expensive vehicles. |

Matchmaking really needs to hurry. Match making will ultimately make noobs suck. If anything it will promote farming. If they could find a balance though that would be great. |

Yeah, matchmaking is a major thorn in this game's side as well as mine. Nothing makes you want to stop playing more than getting put on the wrong end of a pubstomp 5+ times in a row.
Heathen, it's not a lie. Good tank crews can go 40+ especially if they're on a stacked team against randoms. Though it's more common for them to go 20-30~. Now that's the good tankers but this game is mostly full of mediocre tankers at best. |

when me and my friends roll together, we can total at around 40-60, with three tanks and no dying. this takes significant communication on our part. and the enemy only begins fielding real av near the end of the match.
and that's an entire crew of tankers and anti-infantry. the dumbasses screaming for more nerfs are saying lonewolf tankers are doing this.
it was also a skirmish. |
