TL;DR Below
For the love of all things Amarr, when I select to spawn on "X" objective, I'D LIKE TO SPAWN ON "X" OBJECTIVE.
I'm sorry, but it is infuriating to see someone hacking say...Bravo, spawning on "Bravo" in time before they complete the hack, yet spawning on the stairs beside Charlie objective. It is also quite annoying to try and spawn on Bravo just in general and not spawn DIRECTLY on Bravo.
When I select to spawn on a certain objective (a captured NULL Cannon), I expect to spawn on the NULL Cannon, or at least within a 5m radius of it, not down the stairs turned backwards under the objective, or over by a completely different objective.
Now I know the counter argument will be something like "well if the enemy is hacking the objective and you manage to spawn on it before the timer runs out, you shouldn't be able to spawn directly on the objective because your team failed to defend it."
Fair argument, but here is my rebuttal.
If I manage to spawn on an objective before the enemy hacks it during my spawn timer, I SHOULD spawn directly on the objective. If the enemy has multiple players there and I go down...fine that's fair, but if it is one lone enemy then they shouldn't have lone wolfed and if I spawn in time, we should go toe to toe to see who wins...not me having to run 100+ meters because I spawned nowhere near the objective.
SIDE NOTE - Also what is up with the random spawn timers? Sometimes it takes 3 seconds, 7 seconds, or 10 seconds to spawn on an objective (not uplinks). The timers just vary and seems to have no real sense to it.
TL;DR - If I select spawn on A, I expect to spawn DIRECTLY on mother f****** A. |

We already spawn cloaked, simply give like a 5 second invulnerability time as well...also you can spawn on the MCC and default ground site as well that would be deep into their redzone. |

Honestly it would be better if we couldn't spawn on objectives at all. That's one of the major problems with Skirmish, the objectives also being spawn points. |

How is that a bad thing? Cheapens death. Actually rewards it slightly. Makes death grant mobility and superior responsiveness to an emergent situation, dropping you right by it. Edit: and also with the most appropriate gear you have for it.
It's not a full picture of how it plays out but it kinda limits the metagame to the aggressive blob of death. The aggression causes the blob to take some casualties while they blitzkrieg and instead of being a bad thing this means that those who died can re-allocate as necessary to an objective that's suddenly come under threat. |
