Interesting idea. It could be something like this, where it doesn't just give you more money, but it increases the amount of loot you get for selling on the market when it opens up, or for your own use.
Or there could be a skill that gives you a chance to receive some of the items you lost in the course of a battle: not so much netting you extra liquid ISK but rather it let's you not spend as much money to restock. |

Another skill that almost demands I dump SP into it because it clearly grants a significant advantage? No thanks. I'm still working on increasing my effectiveness in combat. |

Well in a way nearly all skills do that. The more skilled you are the more survivablity you have and or the better you are with a weapon. If you survive more you spend less on dropsuits if you kill more you get more wp's which does give more isk payout. So there is in indirect link :) |

said skill immediately becomes and sp grind for any active player. it also becomes the standard at which ccp sets income, as any serious player would have the skill, and ccp doesn't give a **** if you're not a serious player.
all around a bad idea for eve, but an okay idea if there's never going to be market consolidation. |

My main reason for saying this is that this skill can be challenging to get bye having a high SP requirement, but it will also reward you with more money in each match. For example, you earn +5% ISK per level, with a x5 SP requirement per level. The main reason Im saying this is there's alot of matches where you cant control how much you die, such as the enemy getting multiple precision strikes and I have seen this skill in other MMOs. If they do add the ability to sell unused items, however, that would be a good comprimise. |

It's not a crazy idea, there are a couple of EVE skills that have similar effects. A 15% increase in ISK reward goes a long way. |

I disagree. Clearly you are getting payed by some sort of NPC agent. The skill would be called something like Negotiation and would be your effective skill at negotiating with the NPC agent for better pay.
This is a fine idea and I endorse it. |

Here's an explanation. Based on your skill you would be able to "negotiate" more money from your contractor. |

Those make a lot more sense then a "give me ISK" button. They are sci-fi based ("more power to the shields" anyone?) |
