LOL fora av gear individual such as my self laugh at the idea because dropships themself are too paper thin now by the current vehical standards set by CCP it is not like it was builds ago durring I believe durring the precursor build where vehicals were much more of a nightmarish threat compared to the shadows of they once were now. If a dropship were to sit there and hover while trying to remote rep a tank it would just get drops in 1-3 shots froma skilled forge gunnerm not to mention the countless swarms that would have locked on to the dropship by the time the dropship managed to get a lock on with its remote armor repper/ shield transporter. IMHO leave the remote armor repping and shield transporting to the LAVs which can use the tanks to block an possible eney lockon and incomign damage while still beign able to rep the tank NOW with that said. I want to fubar some random rogue drones witha proto forge gun. I wanna see how well they go boom and if they makea bigger bang then a tank
