Oh really normally i feel violated by some fat guys GAINT METAL D*** (forge gun) when he shots some unknown substance at my GAINT A** fom his GAINT METAL D*** repeatedly tearing my HUGE A** apart as i try to crawl away, but i like your example much better. |

Haha funny stuff. Out of curiousity what do you fly? Forge guns are very good against dropships. I would say a little too good, however asking forge gunners to change the forge gun slightly to make the forge gun dropship game more interesting is beyond the average forge gun user. There are a few forge gun users who have seen this rediculousness and said that it could be changed, like DS the drunk heavy, and I commend people who want a more entertaining game and don't cry that its a nerf.
I remember a game where I was in my python flying around and then out of nowhere OHK on my proto fit python. I bailed, so I didn't know what it was that killed me, I assumed compressed particle railgun red line tank, however after landing I saw another dropship OHK and then a tank 3 shotted. It was an officer forge.....pretty un balanced if you ask me. And I've been flying since chromosome..... |

Thank god pilots have reached an unspoken concensious that Pythons are the kick ass dropship to fly right now. If only we could at least take 1 shot from an officer Forge Gun now... |

Pythons are the space sharks of the skies!  and one day serimos, we will have pilot suits and well tanked dropships, and maps to stretch our wings.....I think ill shed a few tears that day. |

defiantly fun to fly, I just hope the rumored return of the proto will bring a proto version of the python that can kick ass, and take some more punnishment |

ye know the incubus isn't a bad dropship too. And it can take more damage then the python cause its armor tanked. |

it would take more damage from swarm launchers then you know
the swarms that deal more damage against armor than all forge guns except the breach variants and even then it does more damage over time
have an auto lock on feature
have a faster reload
tracking weapons that
equipped on a suit that can use nanohives as well as jump over samll obstacles

I don't think there's a single AV player who doesn't feel bad for dropship pilots. Of all the roles and mechanics in this game, the only one that I feel is shamefully overlooked by CCP is the dropship.
I feel very positive about 1.5 though. My hope is that it's righteous justice for the dropship. |
