I've given it some time now, talked to a number of other logi suit wearing players and the new cal logi suit seems to be weaker than all the rest. I don't see that giving the suit its old CPU back, making it equal to the other logi suits in this regard, will make it any form of OP.
Currently I use 2 CPU uppgrades on my CB fit and that just seems a little over the top, especially since I have all related passve skills maxed out. And thenthere's the upcoming armor buff to consider aswell. |

Duvolle,
and I'll not swap it for a GEK, the extra range on the Duvoll is ofthen crucial in CBs.
The loss of combat effectiveness outweights the 40 or so extra armor I would gain from an enhanced ferroscale plate. |

You got 4 lows !!! where you can fit CPU/PG upgrades in and if i remember right the CPU upgrades doesn't cost anything so basically free CPU for 1 low slot. There have been a lot of people stating that the nerf call logis got where a little nerf and that they should actually have had a low slot removed. Though that would clearly be a over nerf.
The amarr logi might be the most offensive minded logi but honestly the call logi is still right on it's tale being much more tanky and agile than the amarr logi.
Maybe you just gotta play as an logi and support people ??
1. I have always run the suit with three different sets of equipment on it, and yes I do support. 2. I have always used a proto CPU extender on it, this geas for all myfittings. 3. In a sence I've never had more than 3 low slots due to one being a cpu uppgrade, now I have 2. 4. Stop aking these kinds of assumptions, I'm not the kind of player tha has run it with one nanohive and a million HP like many tryhards have. |

4 shield E 1 energizer Duvolle Core Locus Scanner Uplinks Nanohive 2 cpu uppgrades 2 regulators Thats more of an Assault Logi fit. Just because of the Duvolle, Core and choice of equipment. I'm seeing a lot of heavily tanked Cal Logis, and that seems like a decent fit, what is the level of the equipment you're using? I'd love to be able to fit that on my Scout
Proto scanner and uplink, K-2 hives if I remember correctly. |

To reverse the argument, why should the Cal suit have less CPU than the other logi suits?
With its racial bonus gone its more or less just like the other logi suits, except for the gimped CPU. |

Well excuse me for taking the "living with your choices" mantra to heart.
Making an "informed choice" is obviously a bad idea.
I'm new to this whole MMO "we give out obviously flawed content only to nerf it 2 months later without granting the player a chance to make a new informed choice" business. But hey, the game is thriving so it must just be me right?
Putting the blame on the players for not anticipating a future nerf is streatching it.... |

I'd love to be able to fit that on my Scout There truth has been said. Look at your fitting choices it's pretty easy to see what kind of mentality people got when they go into fitting stuff. You've clearly put either the duvolle and grenade on first and then moved on to the tank, or started with your tank and then moved on to weapons. Either way your equipment came last in the above fitting. KingBabar wrote:1. I have always run the suit with three different sets of equipment on it, and yes I do support. 2. Stop aking these kinds of assumptions, I'm not the kind of player tha has run it with one nanohive and a million HP like many tryhards have. If it was to me CPU enhancer would take up powergrid. If you install a bigger CPU in your pc my logic tells me that it should draw more power. So taking this over to dust putting a bigger cpu enhancer onto your suit should draw more powergrid from your suit thereby not making the CPU enhancer a free way of getting CPU but more of a choice whether you'r needing CPU or PG. Ohh and 2 regulators damm you must have more stamina than a scout.
Shield regulators due to racial skill, its still very slow... |

502 shields 112 armor 33,80 shield recharge delay about 3 sec
So yeah, a kind of pimped scout suit, almost 180 HP more than a proto scout suit
with less stamina and recovery, speed, shield recharge rate, a sidearm, strafe speed and not least a bigger hitbox.
But meassuring anything up against the combat effectiveness of scouts these days is hardly a valid point.

To clearify:
I have all equipment at proto on this suit, no matter how I switch stuff about, the most effective setup I can make always leads towards carrying 2 cpu upgrades, not saying its a tragedy, I merely state that compared to the other suits it looses one equipment slot for an extra high slot, i have always needed one cpu upgrade and now it needs another.
The other suits have skills that are desent, hacker is a role, armor repair may be very cool after the upcoming buff, and the 25% less cpu/pg to equipment is pure gold. this might change, but the current +25% to shield regulator efficiancy isn't much to brag about. 40 lost cpu equals 66 with the +25 and +5 passive and the 35% of the proto CPU upgrade I was already carrying...
With 15 more base CPU it would make sense, Is that too much to ask for?
Dear CCP in Heaven, may you grant me this tiny little prair, -grant the proto Cal logi back a 15 CPU and thus be fair? |

Except that the Caldari has 3 instead of 4 equipment slot, don't think I haven't missed putting a needle on top of what I already have. |

Midas Fool wrote:KingBabar wrote:Give the FOTM talk a rest now, I specced into it 30 minutes after I downloaded the new content. Hmm...assualt 4H 3L...logistics 5H 4L?! Sign me up! Do you have Core Upgrades, Light Weapon Operation, Explosives, and Electronics to 5? I want to see screenshots.
Core upgrades are lvl 5
Assaullt at lvl 4 and the nades at lvl 3
So there is 90+0,03= 2,7 48+0,06= 2,88
SUM = 5,58 more CPU potentially, but that is the end!
Yes there are some more potential to pul out of it for 750K more skillpoints, I have taken these into account when I claim that the should lose 25 of its base CPU, not the full 40 it has lost now.
And I have no intentions of coming here with any screenshots, I'm closing in on 23 M skillpoints and most dudes here should see me as the honest man I am. |

To be honest I kind of like it like that, but not when they drastically change the effectiveness of stuff and we're not abled to make a new informed choice based on new data.
- Its your fault cause you should have seen that the suit was OP and expected it to be nerfed.... This is the statement most of the EVEtards give me, its really sad. |
