Uh, dropships are Dust 514 Hard Mode. Most pilots are guys looking for a bigger challenge than the one dimensional ground and pound play of infantry combat. |

How did you manage to go through 40 dropships in a single day? I mean, if you're going through that many I can't imagine you getting hit by much of anything other than the ground as you smash your ships into it repeatedly. |

RDVs are so deadly that its actually a good tactic to call in am LAV when a dropship is attacking you, besides making RDVs completely transparent when it comes to dmg dealt theres no way to actually fix this and its completely F'd in the A for dropship pilots, as if having hand held tank guns fired at you isn't enough, the AI randomly take yous out doesn't matter if its a red or blue RDV they'll both Fing pwn you. |

Probably because you didn't practice your flying near the action. Try hovering over infantry low enough...you know, to actually get some kills...
I can fly all day up in the sky without dying. When actually doing something useful, RDV are 30-60% of my ADS losts.

Maybes some avoidance mechanical, reduced damage for slow speed collision, preventing vehicle calls when DS in radius. There is ways, CCP just need to look into it. |
