There's a bug that involves the melee cooldown being reset by sprinting allowing a rapid succession of melee attacks. This is being abused by certain players causing near instant melee kills. Please look into how sprinting affects melee. |

I did a test. I usually wear a complex cardiac regulator so this means I'm able to do a lot of melee before running out of stamina. I was able to take down a Heavy while he was shooting me faster than my AR with Prof. 5 and a 10% damage mod using JUST MELEE because I could hit him 10 times before he could do anything. That sound fair to you? |

btw ari is f*cking you guys up lol. That would only make sense if whatever effect was cancelled by the animation cancel. You can cancel a reload with sprint, but it does not finish the reload. The same doesn't apply to melee. It may cancel the animation but the lock-on and damage still go through for every iteration. What's the point of a shotgun if melee is more accurate, more deadly, and actually detects hits? |

It's ok, though. Keep trying to justify why you do what you do. If and when it's fixed you can still find a way to be effective with your play style, I will salute you sir. Sadly, your whole little scheme depends on you being able to spam countless melee attacks in seconds. Like I said, I never had much of a problem with it, but the fact that I can take down heavy suits without firing a bullet and not using any melee modules like you shows how ridiculous this bug is. |

His only proto suit got nerfed and what does he do? He resorts to exploiting. ***** that suit got nerfed for a reason, so you would only use it to be a logi. Stop doing whatever you can to avoid whipping out a repair tool, you chose a logi suit so be a goddamn logi. idc if my flux nade mass driver combo can kill you instantly, I spent all my time QQing on the forums for your suit to get nerfed, I deserve to get some payback. You want me to QQ some more? Well here I am you gonna get nerfed again motherf*cker enjoy it while it lasts. I honestly have no idea what you just said. It's ok. Got an email from CCP saying it's not intended and is indeed a bug, so enjoy it while it lasts. :] |

Edit: I will donate 1m ISK to Arirana as soon as i log in, just because of this amazing show happening here. Keep up the good work. You seem to have little understanding about PC. Hit detection and lag make people resort to cheap instakill tactics because ARs and other hitscan weapons don't detect about 1/3 of your shots, which is why everyone resorts to grenades, mass drivers, and now this.
I personally had no problem killing Ari despite the lag, but the fact is the exploit allows almost any close-quarters situation to be a kill because there's no time to react to 4-5 melee hits in under a second. Trust me, it's a very very effective tactic. The whole "Oh i only have 480 HP" reasoning means nothing when speed tanking effectively allows you to matrix away from bullets that should be hitting.
I've been using it in pubs occasionally. I've gotten 3 kills in a row against a group of red dots because I meleed them down before most of them could even get a shot off. |
