Why in the hell do they fly worse than military grade dropships >< I mean the militia grades are bad enough but manageable but even with similar fittings all the military grade dropships (standards) are so much harder to manage and apply air breaks on, climbing thrust. landing maneuvers and even liftoff on uneven ground, agility and almost all aspects of controls that the two nearly don't fly the same ><. No other vehicle class I graduated out of militia versions of behaves this way ><
I am going back to militia dropships they cost half as much fly twice as good and so far the only thing able to oneshot me is an RDV. |

No its the same plates.
Gorgon 1 MCRU 1 Shield Recharger
1 Energized Nano Plate 1 Converse Light armor repper 1 Nanofiber Plate
2x Cycled Missile Launchers.
Grimises 1 MCRU 1 Shield Recharger
1 Energized Nano Plate 1 Converse Light armor repper 1 Nanofiber Plate 1 Power Grid Expansion Unit
2x Accelerated Blasters
I know they're not the best fits in the world but the Gorgon was able to eat 2 shots from a proto forge earlier today, survive landing on a few attentive targets and have enough agility to get out of dodge when it got annoying enough and forgiving enough that if I accidentally slam into something I survive it usually.
The Grimises flies like a literal brick, dies pretty quickly, doesn't respond too well to controls to the point that environmental hazards are racking up far more kills than the RDVs where with the Gorgon. |

Aye, wanted much up time as possible so I can 'weather' the flak often and get annoying as possible as for the MCRU I need practice in ship orientation for gunners to do their jobs better also helps pub matches from breaking out of farm spawns.
Takes 3 swarms, 3 forge shots (unless breach then 2) or about 3/4ths of a large blaster heat cycle, not sure about large missiles or railguns however.
Another thing I noticed about military grade dropships is they seem to not like getting nailed at all and its easy to spin out of control if hit right, I never suffered the like with the militia grade dropships. there is something amiss here >< |

I have one Gorgon going 9 matches without dying and being engaged mostly. :P
Grimises not so much 2 match max survival so far and doing the thing I didn't want to do. loiter out of combat.
Shield Dropships... feel like sticks, they're a bit stiffer (rather than the floating brick grimaces are) are rarely use them. |

IE: If you're not being shot at... It's because you suck, IWS.
But I am getting shot at, clearing roofs by squashing is certainly annoying enough. |

I can believe this though, I only seen two rail tanks in the last few matches and both on my side. |

"LEARN TO FLY YA NOOB BEFORE TELLING OTHERS THAT"- ladwar Dude let it go already, it's by far one of the dumbest posts this forums ever seen, and without a doubt the dumbest one ever to have a CPM tag attached, but let it go, it's a stupid stigma that only gets in the way of good discussion. you know i think that is best.. i'll just take my rage out on some dumb zombies which i will now forever call IWS.

I know I miss the controls from the fan fest games, but alas I am stuck onto being an omni, I have 2 more skills in infantry to get to level 2 and 6 more in vehicles, after that Ill be level 3-ing all things and begin to unlock advanced gear and specialization suits. |

It's very difficult, hardcore mode if you will. Now outside of trying to be even with all skills you can skill up anything that benefits majority or every class such as powergrid and cpu, armor HP and shield HP, related skills to 5. But you have access to just about every basic gear set out there and can fulfill every role and experiment with everything quite a bit trying to find the right niche of every suit vehicle or purpose. You will have to be hard pressed to up your skills on the field to just survive though against prototype squads and the like.
I am slowly bumping things out of militia fits lately in various areas, trying new things out every week as my skills can support new play styles as they arise such as the new weapon variants. |

Assault Dropships where godly in my hands there then again the targets where... easy. Nonetheless I only died once that from an aerial ram attack.
Back before they changed the controls completely, they were easy to start in but a bit hard to master because of the finer points of high end play of playing dodge with everything trying to kill you and getting into position to kill them back instead of running away like we do most of the times these days. |

The better dropships are "heavier" meaning they have bullshit controls.
Though I'm told you eventually get used to it. My brother even claimed he liked the heavy feel better when using nitro or whatever its called.
I hate the burners they get me killed way too often ><, I rather prefer agility over speed because my largest threats have always been direct fire weapons not lock ons. They also removed the nano-hull so no more ways of lightening up heavier dropships. |

Yeah forge gunners get me the most but they have to land 3 or more hits in a row to down me I usually get enough breathing time as they reload to get out of the way before the death blow. |
