For MANY MONTHS people have been asking CCP to fix the MCC sniper dwellers! The MOST overpowered players are able to sit in the comforts of their air conditioned MCC while us TRUE SOLDIERS are on the ground. They dont take ANY DAMAGE or ANY risks! This is an UNFAIR advantage to the rest of the players! It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY CCP, to make sure the game was fair and just! YOU HAVE FAILED! You have allowed these snipers to ROB other players of AUR items isk and their VALUABLE time! I was JUST starting to enjoy dust again! Now im just DISGUSTED! Dont be surprised when a class action lawsuit lands on your door! Im shocked it already has'nt happened!
I snipe. I can give you some advice: keep moving and you will be pretty safe from headshots (unless the sniper is lucky or you run straight towards or away from them).
When I snipe a guy, and someone comes to revive them, it makes me happy. I can snipe the medic because he is standing still, then I snipe the guy who he just revived because they don't revive with full armor/shields. If you delay reviving someone for a couple of seconds, I'll likely move on to some other target if there are other reds around. Although, if there are lots of reds around I'll put an extra shot into the body of the target and he can't be revived.
If you are on comms you can let one of your own snipers know where the sniper is and he can headshot the guy because we have to sit still to snipe. I get a bunch of kills counter-sniping.
I thought they took out the ability to snipe from inside the MCC but if it is still allowed a very good tactic is to counter-snipe the guy in the MCC. He is quite still and it is easy to do because they rarely look close to the dropship for targets. I've done it more than a few times. There are guys who stand on top of the MCC (after a dropship puts them there) to snipe but is much, much harder then a regular snipe. People are way smaller when you look at them from the top (rather than from the side). I've tried it a few times but people keep moving and I can't hit anything whenever I've tried this. Also, the hit box of the MCC extends over the edge of the MCC toon and it blocks many of my shots.
