I'm wondering if aim assist is going to/should work outside your weapon's optimal range?
I'm looking at you feather triggering, damage modded, duvolle AR and TAC ARs. |

Why will it matter if it's outside their optimal range? |

Because they can still do damage...when their DPS is 400+ and at 65m they hit for 50% damage, and they can get nearly 100% accuracy and no dispersion by feathering the trigger... |

The way you guys talk about it you act like its going to target the head and shoot the gun for you without pressing any buttons But then I remember a lot of you are EVE players used to care bear turn based combat and it all makes sense |

Uhhh... Eve isn't turn based. Plus you aren't really responding to my question. Unless aim-assist ships broken, it wil ONLY make ARs MORE precise, and hit much further than they are currently, while the mid range weapons atm are having issues competing still. |

I don't see it being that much of a problem. It won't change that much IMO. All weapons will be more effective because you'll be actually able to hit sh*t. |

Because theres only one kind of aim assist and it instantly locks on to the target and follows right? I mean it not like the more common aim assist only slows the targeting reticule when its on an enemies body to help prevent overcorrection And its definitely not like most people turn aim assist off since having something that causes sticky patches totally throws off a persons rhythm
