Have built in active scans?
Theyre already not used by anyone at all because the have the same slots and HP as militia LAVS...
They could use a buff... an extra low (or high for the Caldari) slot would be ideal so you could run a resist, because scout LAVS need one of the lows for an overdrive... (The Gallente scout LAV only has two lows, one of which needs to be at least be a rep, then you have to pick between an overdrive or resist... it really needs BOTH... - if that can't be done... THEN PUT IN ADV AND PRO VEHICLES ALREADY WITH MORE SLOTS AND BETTER HP)
Also the LLVs need their infantry lock on module to auto lock and lock on faster. As of right now, ppl are still using them as murder Taxis because the shield/armor rep modules are too difficult to use in the heat of battle with infantry running around and so forth...
They should lock on AUTOMATICAlLLY to all infantry in range, instead of using that small, very difficult to use rectangle reticule. Plus it takes way to long to lock. |

Hell yes! and they should also score points for scanning! and they need to bring back vehicle repair points. Im tired of fully repping tanks and getting no points for it! But will they do this? Probably not |

The idea behind the SLAV was to make the most useless, undemanded vehicle in the game. |

I use them. They're actually pretty good- they're a way smoother ride than other LAVs. Still shouldn't be more expensive than basic LAVs, though. |

perhaps, they could easily make ones with more hp, pg/cpu, slots by introducing ADV/PRO... but there's all this sentiment against that for some reason, even though PRO AV is wrecking most vehicles atm.

I'd like to see the scout LAV in battles. I think they need to be naturally faster, active scanners, and a stationary cloak. Also no turret, instead an active CRU module needs to be added just for them, driver can turn it on when he's in the right place/ready, and back off to block unwanted spawns. This way a SLAV can sneak around the enemy reveal their position, cloak then unleash a squad spawn, completely blind siding the oppostion. This is also how I imagine minimouse tanks to be, smaller, light, faster, cloaked for fast attacks then gone. disadvantage would be weaker in the shield/armor dept, probably hybrid. |
