I have many fits for my gallente. Here's a few and how they shine:
triple complex catalyzer, double proto stamina duvolle, proto link, complex shield extender complex precision exhancer, core locus, complex recharger.
You sprint at 9.3 move speed, have over 525 stamina, get to the objective 4-8 seconds faster than anybody else (minus gallente scout but they are squishier for it) and throw down proto links while you hack.
quad complex hacking mods, triage nano's, enhanced plate, 3x shield extenders, duvolle, core locus, k2 nano, re's.
This is the creme de la creme of hacking for me. I run to a point that needs hacking lay down 2 triage hives, and start hacking (usually this is reserved for rehacking) the reps keep my armor tanked ass alive while the fire rains down.
2x complex damage mods, 1x complex shield extender 1x complex ferroscale, 1x basic ferroscale, 3x basic armor plates, triage hives, gauged hive, advanced re's, advanced injector, duvolle, core locus.
This is my pub stomping fit, 530 armor, 200 shields, 2 damage mods, you melt face and you got repping hives and ammo hives, re's for pesty heavies that get the drop or mobs or objectives, and your injector for getting fools back on their feet.
4x proto uplink (quantum, gauged, imperial, flux)
This is my bread and butter, the ultimate uplink spammer.
IMO logi's can shred face just like anyone else. I keep a decent KDR considering armor tanking sucks and is only slightly good cause the ferroscale decreases my movement speed penalty like a boss and helped make me viable. I never use a rep tool. Force the noob who died to stay back until fully repped, I decided where that is, and I can rep myself.
These are just a few examples. The only thing I don't like is the rep tool, it's not as good as triage hives IMO, only advantage is the ability to move and that they can be destroyed.
I sometimes even drop one triage hive in one spot and an allotek as well for 110 hp/cluster and then lay down another set of the same elsewhere when I'm point defending so I can still retreat tactically while still getting uber reps or naded/mass drive'd out of my precious hives. |

Never rep unless you hve to. It makes you a target. If you are following a heavy; start reps when the engagement starts but dont rep if you are just walking around.
7-10 deaths is nothing. You should not worry about your kill/death ratio. Just remember that warpoints speak for themselves. If you are getting a good dose of warpoints in the battle 400+ then you are ok; mind you this is fairly easy as a logi putting nanohives, spawn points repping and whatnot.
Don't pay attention to your deaths unless they affect your wallet too much, then it's time to make cheaper fits. |

Welcome to the hard life of a logi. We don't do it for the kills, the praise, or glory. Damnit, we do it for our team, our fighters, our cause!! We are not heros, never was, never will be. Were just there to give our soldiers a bit more time to enact vengeance upon our enemies. We are the hope, the life extenders, the savers, the life of the battlefield!! We are LOGIS.

I had a guy revive me twice in a row with a militia or basic injector despite the area being covered in enemy fire. After the second revive and instant death, he was thankfully also dead. Even worse when an Assault revives with a MLT needle and then runs off to cover leaving the crippled heavy as the easy kill distraction. Very frustrating although I can see the validity from the Ass's side. |

can't tell how pissed off it makes me when a warpoint wh0re runs to revive someone with a militia injector when I know I could have done it better with my wyirkomi injector. And then they both dies and attract attention.
A true logi never revives till it's safe and if it's not you do as much as you can to make it safe or wait till it is; only then do you revive unless you are trying to save your friends expensive suit. |
