Only the bugs that make it not shoot and not explode should be fixed. NOTHING else should be changed. It is perfect right now, asides from the bugs. It takes skill to use, yes, but it is not underpowered.
And for anybody who doesn't know; it's meant for COX not long range fights! It even says it in the description. It doesn't need bigger splash or more splash damage, nor less arc, it doesn't need more than one round in the clip, it doesn't need to shoot faster and it definitely doesn't need a faster projectile.
All these things would make it to easy to use and OP. That's what the Mass Driver's for. |

Right now it is 100% fine (asides bugs). It is a hard weapon to use, but if you learn to use it, you will be one shotting heavies before your know it. |

Same should probably go for the forge gun. Forge gun already has assault and breach variant.
Assault is good for spamming on infantry from roofs and the breach is good for ambushing tanks. |

At that point you're just going to get hit by the vehicle you're trying to take down. So AV grenades are fine right?

Cosgar, get a scout suit Plasma Cannon and some AV nades.
Use the Plasma Cannon to take out their shields and use AV nades for the armor. Boom, OP fit right there. You can't do it, leave it alone and let the rest of us do it. |

The noob tube is the Mass Driver, that is OP. Not for being OP, but because most of the other light weapons and the HMG are under powered. |

Or better yet, use a swarm launcher instead. Normally the way I use my Swarm launcher is to use advanced flux nades on the HAV first and then follow up with the Swarms for the damage bonus.
The Plasma cannon is the inverse. Use the Plasma cannon against the shields and then follow up with AV nades on the armor.
Pretty effective, unfortunately most people don't know to use it like this. |

AV Grenades > Plasma Cannon, and you get 3 shots rather than 1. It needs a speed buff, it's far too slow. Except that Plasma Cannons destroy shields, AV grenades destroy armor. You can take out a shields tank's shields in usually 1-2 shots with the Plasma Cannon, while you may have used all three of your AV nades on their shields and then you have to resupply and you give them time to get their shields up.
So Plasma Cannon is for Shields, AV nades are for use against armor. It is that simple. |
