I think they say that the Dust beta was successful because they went full release. No mention of the release being successful, only the beta. Careful omission of words used to make it sound more successful than it is.
The game has to make money, or else why keep it running? Granted, they couldn't make money off of the current state it's in no matter how hard they tried, but the guy they bring in might offer up suggestions on how to monetize future patches and expansions.
5 years experience is better than taking the first guy that sends in an application with a semester of accounting basics. The game's in a pretty bad state as it is, but they're looking for experienced help instead of what I said above.
Shanghai is where the game is being developed. Wouldn't be that useful to hire a guy to work in a department halfway across the globe that doesn't exist. |
