Whats up with your recruitment drive on linked in? 
Firstly I wouldn't call the Dust Beta successful;-Quote:DUST 514, CCPGÇÖs second title, officially launched on May 14, 2013 as a free-to-play FPS exclusively on PlayStation 3, after a successful beta with millions of gamers participating. . This had to be one of the worse Beta's ever!
Secondly;- Quote:POSITION PURPOSE Digital business management and monetization for the DUST 514 Brand. Quite honestly the game is in a state that it is barely playable and now here you are going to start worrying about the monetization of Dust? LOL! Can we have the core game mechanics fixed first. Once you have a good core, people will automatically pay. Expecting the new Business Manager to focus on monetization will add more P2W factors.

These are the guys that take weeks and months of vacations, push in ninja hacks/nerfs pissing off the little player base you have and delivering a product that is less than 6/10 on most gaming reviews.

Gotto love the fanboys! A business manager is one of the first members in any project. The fact that they put this post on Aug 9 means that either they fired their Business Manager or they just started looking for one. Either way doesn't bode well for the company because firing of the business manager means they made very bad decisions. Hiring a business manager now means that someone somewhere messed up real bad.
Dust has been flushing down the drain for a while. The hiring of a BM is a desperate stop gap to prevent the inevitable. |
