Seriously... I have not had a session of Dust in the last month that did not drop the server connection at least once. This weekend I cannot even get connected at all. Before all you know it all's tell me to check my connection. I am on line now creating this post. My playstation network is connected and that is probably the weakest link in the whole PS3 system. Come on CCP I know you are trying your best to create a game you can be proud of but if people can't play it then what's the use? I mean why waste your time and money. Shesh |

I get what you mean though, had several DC issues this weekend while I was trying to cap. A little frustrating. I usually just step out for a minute and then it goes back to normal. Were you lagging as well in Merc quarters and during gameplay? My worst DC is during a match when im gunning someone down and suddenly I'm no longer connected to PSN. Da fuq? Lol

I got 5 disconnects towards the end of night lastnight, I said fk it and just turned off the system. Internet was good, PS network connection was good.. dust just was like fk you not tonight.
3 of them happened while I was trying to climb a hill that didn't look so steep but my merc still acted like it was a mountain with no path.. if that means anything |

Same problem occurs in Eve sometimes, I'm not sure if they can make it perfect.. but it definately does not disconnect as bad as it does here in Dust some nights.
I remember this one time I lost a mega navy issue after engaging a group in jita outside 4-4. As soon as I fired my gun, blap there goes my Eve.. Internet was strong, no problem on my end.
I try to petition it, they respond something along the lines of : We are deeply sorry for this inconvenience , however we are unable to reimburse you due to lack of finding instability in the sever for that area. thank you, feel free to comment if further assistance is needed.

I recently had a buncha disconnects happen to me as well. For some unknown reason, my ISPs DNSs decided to stop letting me access the playstation network. I switched my PS3 to a google public DNS primary and a opendns secondary. Google DNS namebench and download that tool to find the fastest and most stable name servers for you. Or just use whatever closest public DNSs you like. |
