What do you expect? One class that prefers babysitting around all day long rather than killing, to be honest it is nice running around with a core focused repair tool and experiment with the intense healing, not to mention scanning with the scanner. But 50 percent should be about ways to prevent dying in the first place and only support when support is necessary, "Ok lets rep this guy up for guardian points even though I already repped his armour".
What the hell did I just hear, seriously the logistics variant has no life, the battlefield is no place for medics (Ok lets all bring civilians in the battlefield shall we... no), only combat medics/engineer visit the battlefield. We should actually have access to real point defense equipment, sentry turret and the like. Give them more of an engineer feeling by adding such deployable items.
In other words they should have the killing potential as anyone else but through other means than traditional shooting, say remote explosives which I think was a great addition back then, since it made the logistics suit have more of a point defense role but they need more than just that.
No one should think of the term logistics, as medics because its not the full definition. |

My logistic suit carries an advanced Scrambler Rifle lately (though I used to carry just a Scrambler Pistol). Hive, repair tool, nanites, and that Scrambler Rifle. This is all I really need when I go play the support role. I don't want kills but I'm not going to stand around and be needlessly killed. The Scrambler Rifle, despite me not able to use high slots thanks to the standard Gallente logistic I use, kills plenty.
Not all of us want to move into an assault position, like the pretend super assaults have been doing. My gun fires for the life of myself and my team. |

They cry about everything that's different from what they use and never look at the downsides to what they complain about or are flat out misinformed. I've been using Minmatar logi since beta and suddenly I'm OP even though I lost 35 shields and gained a complex armor repper and codebreaker built into my suit. |

when an assault gets a kill, its obvious skill.
when a logi gets a kill inbetween, repping, reviving, dropping hives and uplinks, taking hits to protect the injured and possiblely using their light weapon slot to carry a swarm launcher...its an obvious sign of a broken class kill stealing
i am now convinced and shall endeavour to petition that logi suits have no weapon slots. |

I play as assault and play regularly with logis who often get as much if not more war points than me, even when I luckily manage a 4:1 kdr game. (just as a clarification here: I like that logis can get as many war points as a assault) I can understand how boring being a logi would be when there's no one to support, but it's equally annoying when your an assault and there's no one supporting you (no nanohives, repair tools, or uplinks).
If your a logi and you can't find anything to do your playing with the wrong people. Or have too many logis. |

You're equipment doesn't have a use most the time? Ok, well I'm just sitting over here waiting for my armor to repair while I see you run right by me, or bleeding out waiting for a revive since it tells me one of you is in range, but never come.
I don't care if logis want to kill, they should want to. The thing that bothers me is people who play logis and all they do is actively seek out kills with their equipment as an after thought. I see videos of logis who don't so much as even look at their teammates. |

Lol, I know what you mean.. I really hate chasing someone down to repair them. I will give chase a little, but i'm not going to pursue for long. And triage hives lol, you would think some people would realize as they run through them and it says +armor to stay still, but no.. most the time they keep running and just get that 1 tick.

For those of you that are looking for logi help. If I passed you up when you needed help I am sorry. However when I am not playing with my squad most people simply don't want our help. People don't wait for for revives, When I do pick someone up they rarely wait to get healed. If I start healing someone I usally get one rep in (33 hitpoints) Then they just start booking it torward the glob of reds instead of letting me finish the job. I do normally carry k12d nanohives and drop those near choke points we are fighting over yet no one backs up to get the heals or ammo.
None of this stops me from trying to play support I still do just some games I give up and simply try to get kills and watch the teams flanks. For those that commented on wanting the logi to you know logi I will be watching for your names in hopes to show you logibbro are still out there.

I have been thanked numerous times for keeping someone alive while they are in a firefight. I have also been told by friends playing against us that they were wondering why my fellow teammate wasn't dying but then saw me and knew I was keeping that person alive. Yes, I prefer the term medic because it is what I do in all games I play. I like helping people and I happen to be a **** shot.
I don't do it for the points either. Ask my corp. In the closed beta there was a time when I got zero repping points and still did it. (Thank you farmers ) My corp had to fund me and my expensive no ISK making self.

Everyone else I run with usually shield tank and a proto injector is more than enough. Besides, I'm running indirect support, laying out uplinks, REs, Mines, and hacking objectives with a codebreaker and my suit bonus. |

Things that give real Logistics a bad reputation:
- Assault mercs that use Caldari Logistics ck.0 suits because they were over powered.
- Blueberries carrying nanite injectors and don't know how or when to use them.
- Needing to spearhead the fight because the blueberries are sitting in the red line or generally wandering aimlessly.
I'm almost ready to cave in on the whole respec crap just to get the assaults out logistics suits. |

I understand, it's the vicious cycle of assaults running away from logistics because they assume they won't repair, and logistics not repairing because they assume they will run away. I wish we could break this cycle. In an ideal world I could scrap my armor repairer module and use it for something more valuable, trusting that there will be a logi to repair me.
P.S. Love love love the triage nanohives, place them all over the place and I will find them. Thank you. |

that's nice an all Mr. Assault Suit, its nice that when You want a Logi to do something For You, that you can suddenly see us all over the shop. Where are you when a logibro is in need of help? When we are pinned down by an angry mob because we HAVE been doing our job. When you choose your targets, which prioritises first: the low armor easy kill or the guy shooting at a fleeing logibro?
You wouldnt be one of those people that likes to troll injector users are you? you know the trick: hit call for help then release when they get close nuff to revive you. Or one of those people that run around a corner when you're getting repped. Or thinks that because you're getting repped that you should now try to tank that proto squad that took you to 10% armor in the first place? You might be a Hive troll.. you know, stand on a hive and spam grenades... at nothing....."its all so fresh and new, look at me mommy!! no hands" I'm sure fellow logi's could list quite a few more grievances, but really being a logi isnt about whining about the guys you try to save, its about looking at the battlefield in greater terms than just "the next kill."
and all through this.... each and every logibro, still has the same gripes you do ... think on it for a bit :P try running logibro yourself sometime, it will open you eyes to a world of stupid only seen in nightmares and disney films. |

Logi Should be getting more WP than an Assault.
Team Resupply Revives Repairs Respawns
All give WP, alongside any hacks, kills, assists.
Given the duties of a logi though, kills are Usually lower than most Assault.
Sometimes its best to plan ahead, and have the rep tool out in advance (here's looking at you bugged weapon wheel for mouse), which can mean standing around waiting for one of the mercs nearby to lose most of their shields.

Woah woah woah, calm down Billi Gene. I am none of those things. I know those players exist, but rest assure I am not one of them.
I ran logibro nearly all of Chromosome and up to around 5/14 when I decided to start over as assault. I understand your complaints (especially the idiots who are too damn blood thirsty to wait a second before their armor is fully repped). Let me rephrase my statement for you,
In an ideal world, I would be able to scrap my armor repairer module for something more useful trusting that there will be logis to repair me, and logis would be able to trust assaults to protect them from enemy fire and not run around like raving baffoons. |

i suspect it is the CPU/PG of logi suits...allowing for better fittings. The loss of the sidearm is minor if you use an AR or SR. |
